Daggers Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I suspect the days of N'Gotty in midfield will continue. It's really not working though. It was doing pretty well for the two previous matches.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 It was doing pretty well for the two previous matches. If you say so. I thought we were pretty awful against Charlton. N'Gotty and Clemence is not something I want to see for much longer. It's not a long-term solution. I'm just sick of seeing defenders in midfield. By the way, 2500!! I told everyone we'd take quite a few to this!! Always do in the Cup.

Only Fryatt, Stearman and Kisnorbo looked any good in the Charlton match. N'Gotty and Clemence certainly didn't.
RowlattsFox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Assuming we dont sign anyone before saturday, this would be the team i would go for. Henderson Stearman..McAuley..Kisnobo..Kenton Chambers..Wesolowski..Hume...Mattock Fryatt...Howard Subs: N'Gotty, Sheehan, Hayles, Hayes, King I have no idea how Hume in centre midfield would work but why not give it a go, Kenton is a better defender than Sheehan and Mattock. Hopefully we will have signed some players by the end of the week because this team looks awful.

mmarkie Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 are howard and hayles aloud to play or are they cup-tied if they are aloud to play i think then team will be: Henderson Stearman Kisnorbo Mcauley Mattock Hume Wesolowski King Hayes Howard Hayles
Scow Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Link - OS Leicester City look set to be backed by a bumper Foxes following when they take on Southampton in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday. The Club confirmed on Wednesday morning that they had already sold over 1,300 tickets for the contest. The Blue Army have been out in force for the Carling Cup games against Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Chelsea this season. And the fans will be backing City in their numbers once again for the FA Cup fixture against George Burley's Saints this weekend. Many supporters will be travelling down to the South Coast in the hope of seeing new signings Steve Howard and Barry Hayles in action. Tickets are priced at just £15 for adults, £5 for seniors and £1 for under 16s. Supporters can secure their tickets from the Walkers Stadium ticket office up until 10am on Saturday morning. Fans will also be able to purchase their tickets from St Mary's on the day of the game up until kick-off - subject to availability. Meanwhile, supporters are reminded that tickets remain on general sale for Leicester upcoming home game against Coventry City on Saturday, January 12. Cup fever indeed. As for the team, not sure who's injured or suspended. But I'd like to see; Fulop (I don't care if we have to pay 3m, gerrim back) Chambers - Kisnorbo - N'Gotty - Sheehan Hume - Wesolowski - Clemence - Hayes Howard - Fryatt
Jack Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Team I reckon will be summut along the lines of: Henderson Sterman Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan Hume Wesolowski King Hayes Howard Fryatt
Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Fulop (I don't care if we have to pay 3m, gerrim back)Chambers - Kisnorbo - N'Gotty - Sheehan Hume - Wesolowski - Clemence - Hayes Howard - Fryatt I'd go with that except for Clemence who is suspended. What's King's situation at the moment? If he's fit enough I'd put him in.
maddog Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 This is our only hope for the season. Staying in the Fa Cup is all we have left or this season is 100% over. Id love to see us in that draw for 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 rounds and then win it. We can beat anyone in an one off game i.e Villa, (Tottenham when they were 3rd in Prem), nearly Chelsea, beat Arsenal many years ago on Penoes. We can win the cup
reynard Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 does it really matter? I'd rather win 2 of the next 4 league games than this one. As we can't win 2 games in a row then if we win this we will lose at home to Coventry which would be worse. Suppose it gives Holloway a chance to get hayles and Howard playing together and a win might increase confidence but then how many times have we said that? Personally if Southampton score first then I can't see anything other than a loss.

Bert Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 The OS are reporting that "cup fever" has hit the Leicester fans. Oh my.
Finnegan Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 There's a fourty-five page thread of football-match organisation that says we've already won this game. Quite possibly the smartest, fate-tempting, to-win-a-football-match coup in sporting history?

They bought more to the league game with us. "Already sold 1,300 tickets" Theres 3 days before the game! Tickets have been on sale three weeks. What a load of horeshit. God, they make me so angry.
Koke Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'm bound to go to this. It's either several hours shopping with the missus or going to St. Mary's.

Simi Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 nope they bought 900 and something. Pretty sure they bought more than that.
Floating Fox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Pretty sure they bought more than that. Even if they did, which I don't think they did, I remember them bringing 3000 before for league games. We should be taking a minimum of 2k to this game. It's the FA CUP!

We should be taking a minimum of 2k to this game. It's the FA CUP! I realy want us to win this. The cup is our only hope for a bit of success this season seen as weve practically thrown away the league again this year. Bring it on Southampton scum time to pay you back! am oi right in saying that kicked us out the cup a few years back, woth a 96th!!! minute winner? Bastard referee's!!!
SamL Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Pretty sure they bought more than that. No mate, they only bought 954. Just checked it out in the programme. There looked a lot more than that though. Maybe alot of the fans bought tickets on the day that weren't included in the count? I'm not sure.
