onetruefox Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 With no distractions.10 home and 10 away..60 points up for grabs. Will we survive Home games..Cov,Palace,Plymouth,Norwich,Preston,Bristol,Hull,Scunny,Colchester,Sheff Wed. Away games..Norwich,Blackpool,Watford,Cov,Cardiff,Saints,Westbrom,Sheff U,Barnsley,Stoke. How many points should we get ?..and how many will we get ?
Mort Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 To be honest none of those fixtuers should worry us too much... then again
dandannieldanok Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 With no distractions.10 home and 10 away..60 points up for grabs. Will we surviveHome games..Cov,Palace,Plymouth,Norwich,Preston,Bristol,Hull,Scunny,Colchester,Sheff Wed. All of those away fixtures look tough and considering our pathetic home form we could be in even more trouble than at the moment.

Away games..Norwich,Blackpool,Watford,Cov,Cardiff,Saints,Westbrom,Sheff U,Barnsley,Stoke. How many points should we get ?..and how many will we get ? I can't believe I was about to use the phrase "winnable home games". You know what I mean. There's no-one particularly worrying there. Except us.
davieG Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Well I would imagine they are all looking at us in their fixture list and saying 3 points nailed on we'll not get relegated, will get promoted, will get in the play-offs, (select as applicable).
Stuliasz Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Fact is that 90% of teams in that list are at present better than us whether we want to admit it or not. It's going to be another tough run in.
davieG Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 I was hoping the title meant players. It would have said 20 forwards to come in!
Webbo Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 It would have said 20 forwards to come in! Am I the only one who thinks that the reason he's buying all these strikers is because he's probably got deals lined up for our existing ones?
davieG Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Am I the only one who thinks that the reason he's buying all these strikers is because he's probably got deals lined up for our existing ones? That's the optimists view although Hayles is better than who?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 PLEASE PUT DOWN YOUR GOALKEEPER! YOU HAVE 20 GAMES TO COMPLY!
Webbo Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 That's the optimists view although Hayles is better than who? I've not seen him yet so I don't know, though probably no-one. I get the feeling with Hayles that he's here to gee up the others and create a positive atmosphere.
sdb Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 lots of winnable home games there. well...if we weren't leicester city!
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 I'll see two of them and probably return home shell-shocked. Love it.
Babylon Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 That's the optimists view although Hayles is better than who? All our strikers going on last seasons scoring charts
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 30 points to get us anywhere near what we did last season....can anyone else see us getting that???
Boycie Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Im going to be optimistic and say 40. I woke up this morning and thought things can only get better so...
reynard Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 With no distractions.10 home and 10 away..60 points up for grabs. Will we surviveHome games..Cov,Palace,Plymouth,Norwich,Preston,Bristol,Hull,Scunny,Colchester,Sheff Wed. Away games..Norwich,Blackpool,Watford,Cov,Cardiff,Saints,Westbrom,Sheff U,Barnsley,Stoke. How many points should we get ?..and how many will we get ? We will only survive if we get 25 points from those games at that means winning some of our home games. As i've said elsewhere the next 4 are crucial. For me we must take a minimum 8 points from those matches. Anything less and we will be in serious trouble. Of the remaining games I can't see us getting anything from away trips to watford, saints, west brom, sheff utd or Stoke. so we probably need 25 points from a possible 45.
Bluefoxtim Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Im going to be optimistic and say 40. I woke up this morning and thought things can only get better so... 2 points per game is promotion form.
Simi Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 This is such an awful time to play Cov. They've just had an amazing victory in the cup, we've just been pissed all over yesterday. Our home form is dreadful and we're playing woefully. They seem to of had some resurgence. Home banker then?
He's not bald Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 We could easily win 8/10 of them home games imo. And when was the last time we were in that sort of form at the Walker's?
davieG Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 We could easily win 8/10 of them home games imo. We currently can't win more than 4 in a year so what's changed to allow you to believe there will such a astronomical turn around in form to conjure up 8 in 10. Whatever Ollie is he's no magician.
