LeeCovFox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Can't hate Wigan though, they havent attracted any new fans! On Fulham though, were they not a fairly big club in the 50's and 60's? thought they had a more traditional fan base, could be wrong though.
leedslad Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 ...We're losing our touch From my perspective; - Galatasaray - Chelsea- buying success/traditional rivals/Bates - Man Utd- traditional rivals - Newcastle- for their 'best supporters in the world' tag and the media hype that surrounds them - Liverpool- for stupid acts like 2000 scousers storming the ticket barriers in Athens- then blaming it on anybody but their own fans. What pisses me off most is that the media pretty much ignores this, yet 200 Leeds fans invade the pitch and throw some bottles yet we recieve nationwide media condemnation. - Cardiff- just general scum and now Risdale's there. - Preston/Huddersfield- comparable to a spot that just won't go away, they despise us but don't have a valid reason why.
LeeCovFox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Middlesbrough are new money as well, were in the old third division in the 80's and nearly went out of existence. No prob with these clubs though, makes it more interesting to see different teams in the top flight for me. Its the new fans tat annoy me. I get the feeling their loyalty will last only as long as the clubs success.
Joe. Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Preston/Huddersfield- comparable to a spot that just won't go away, they despise us but don't have a valid reason why. Because you're Leeds!
leedslad Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Because you're Leeds! More like they have serious inferiority complexes after being so far behind us for so long. Funny thing was with Huddersfield, they were raving about playing us for ages- then we beat them 4-0, so in order to gain something from the fixture- they now celebrate painting a defenceless Leeds statue blue at 2AM in the morning as a way of getting one over us Definition of tinpot club. Most Leeds fans actually like being hated by the way- it's all part of the Leeds against the world mentality that keeps us going and united.

But they have Danny Cadamarteri.
AyewJoking Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Cant be bothered to hate anyone apart from Man Utd, Leeds, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Newcastle, Liverpool, Wolves. die die die die die die die die die die die die die die die.
Finnegan Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Its childish bickering. "We've won five European Cups and 17 League titles".. "You've never won the Premiership". and the usual "We are better than you". Yawn. See. It's THIS, not your not going to games, that makes you a total tossbag. It's called a rivalry for ****s sakes. It's social as well as footballing, the Mancs and the Scousers are always at it.
Finchy Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 More recently, Cov, because i go to college with a lot of Cov fans and they all tossers. But the biggest rivalry for me as a Leicester fan is probs Derby, not fussed about Forest. The teams i hate that aren't our local rivals, err Bolton simply because of the shocking support from the fans, they have less people at there home games than your average championship team. And err, i always like to see Palace do badly because Simon Jordan is such a ****.
Daggers Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Riiiight.... Everton. I was hit by a firework launched by their cnutish fans Millwall. They embodied everything that was wrong in the game in the '80s/90s Wimbledon. A bunch of bullying twats muscling their way through the league and now -haha- they're ****ing dead MKDons. They actually believe they are a real club and not some franchise wannabie ManU. 98% of "fans" couldn't point to the fukcing city on the map - Glory hunting wankers and Rio is an absolute dick Torquay. The chairman wanted the Cobblers obliterated because they were a "joke" of a team. The Cobblers used to be my next door neighbour so **** off Torquay Every other team in South London except Millwall. Simply because you are impossible to get to and away from. Any team Ken Bates currently owns. The ****er wanted to put up electric fences at Chelsea. Chelsea. I despise you. There are no redeeming features to this club. Any club Dennis Wise or Vinny Jones are associated with - they (players) have been a cancer on the game Clubs I couldn't give a fukc about: Plymouth
Raj Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Gotta be Liverpool. All the saddos at School used to support them..and it seems the same nowadays too!!!!!
Brainy Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 See. It's THIS, not your not going to games, that makes you a total tossbag. Oh, If thats the case then everyboby on here must be a "total tossbag" as im sure i've disagreed with everybody at least once. Its my ****ing opinion.
SamL Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 For me it's gotta be Derby, Forest, Leeds, Newcastle and Fulham.
mancunianfox Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 I can't stand: Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Derby, Norwich, Stoke, Leeds, Liverpool, Tottenham.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 More like they have serious inferiority complexes after being so far behind us for so long. I think it's quite clear why Huddersfield fans hate you, they're about 20 minutes down the road from you, the closest club to Leeds is probabley a toss up between them and Bradford.
leedslad Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 I think it's quite clear why Huddersfield fans hate you, they're about 20 minutes down the road from you, the closest club to Leeds is probabley a toss up between them and Bradford. Considering they've played us twice in the last 20 years, there is no on the pitch reason for them to hate us. Anything else is jealousy. Rivalry/hatred develops through playing matches against each other, distance isn't a factor- e.g; we at one point had a reciprical rivalry with Chelsea. According to your logic, Farlsey Celtic should be our main rivals, despite us never playing them in the league. Their hatred of Leeds is pure bitter jealousy and that's what's annoying. There's been nothing controversial between the clubs for years (until they painted a statue of ours this season), yet all they sing is we all hate leeds scum, at times it seems they'd rather get one over on us than succeed themselves. Last season I had town fans telling me they would rather us come down than themselves go up. If that's not an obsessive and pathetic hatred then I don't know what is. Yet what do Leeds fans think of Town? 99% could not give a shit about them- only those who have the misfortune to have to work/live there may care.

I don't think theres much comparison between Farsley Celtic and Huddersfield I wouldn't say it's bitter jealously, it's more the fact that your the big club 20 minutes up the road and they'd love getting one over on you. Thats what I gathred anyway, I lived there for three years.
Staf Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 I obiviously hate Forest, Derby and Cov but the team i hate most is Man Utd always end up arguing with their fans when they take the piss out of Leicester and they say their reason for supporting Man Utd is pathetic

Webbo Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Man utd, fooking detest them. Tottenham, don't know why always have. All west midland teams except WBA.
Simi Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Its childish bickering. "We've won five European Cups and 17 League titles".. "You've never won the Premiership". and the usual "We are better than you". Yawn. I am actually quite shocked by this. Do you understand anything? Some of the chants that have been focused around this have been genius. Just to be original and everything.. If you'd been to a game you'd probably understand a little more. Whatever it is, im sick of hearing it over and over again. Much like my opinion of your posts.
Brainy Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Much like my opinion of your posts. Why haven't you put me on ignore yet?
