Osbourne deal on hold

I really don't understand the point of this loan MON is reluctant to let him go and only then to enable him to regain some fitness do we really want an unfit player in our team. Whilst at best we get him for 1 month with very little chance of extending and no chance at all of any permanent deal.

No Isiah no Clemence............

........so who will play in the middle this weekend?

Weso, King.

My guess is it's cover until we get another midfielder in permanently.

Yawn at this deal...

TBH i don't see much point in this whole thing anyhow, it's only a month from what i know Villa don't wanna sell him and it's simply to bulid up his fitness, what is he gonna really bring to us in that amount of time? if it was a season long loan i'd be more interested

Oakley and Wesolowski are both more than capable players. If Laczko and Bori make it then that is still a class midfield for this division. Shame about Osbourne and it makes you wonder whether we will now push for the Norris deal.

mmmmm that would really pi** me off if i was the player, drove all the way to leicester played footie now hes gotta drive all the way back to birmingham so he can bench warm tomorow!!

Id be pretty hacked off at that. :@

Was looking forward to seeing this guy in a city shirt aswell, he looked useful in the cup matches hes played.

I don't like 1 month loan deals, unless there's a guarantee that it will turn into either A: season long or B: permanent and this deal isn't either from what MON said?

I think so.

Norris has handed in a transfer request.

Could be same old no Midfield shit Leicester on Saturday then.

If Zsolt is out i really will be getting worried, Ive heard Bori can play both wings but then Hume who played amazing up front last match would have to play right wing. Bori Left wing, Oakley and Weso centre with King on bench. I guess Fryatt and Howard would have to start up front then, or could Howard and Hayles play together :dunno:

Hopefully Zsolt will be ok

How can a 1 month loan deal turn into a saga like this...???!!! Sod it, if MON doesn't like to loan out players, why doesn't he just say so? We need cover on the wings more than anything, just see what happens when Zolti cant play......

I'd say Wesolowski n Oakely in the centre with King on the bench.

I cannot see any way that either Wesolowski or King will be fit.

When has either had a chance to play.

Weso came off the bench for a few second against Coventry. Big deal.

King got a little action as a sub against QPR but this week's reserves match was postponed and there's been nothing else. In fact I don't think King has been fully fit all season what with limited reserves appearances, sitting on the first team bench, international breaks, injury and postponed matches.

Truth is Leicester are forever having players hanging around losing match fitness. They did it last year too. It's another handicap that comes from having too big a squad and one that's half full anyway of players who aren't good enough.

Even tomorrow Holloway's talk about round pegs in round holes will look premature. Who do we have for the wings?

Sometimes we're like a fashion model with one set of clothes.

And I'm beginning to wonder if injuries are going to be the Achilles Heel with Laczko.

I hope not but he's only down as having 52 games since 2004 and only seven this year before he joined City which seems a bit thin for a 21-year-old.

Perhaps there have been reserve matches in between but do we know and do0es anyone know his injury history. I just wonder because I still cannot understand why Olympiacos would be so happy to let an obviously talented young player go so soon after they signed him.

Is it just "good business" or is he fragile?

Late tackle from another enthusiastic squad member. That's why he's DOUBTFUL.

Bruno has played there but looks as though he will be centre back with kisnorbo suspended. who would you suggest goes centre midfield other than the two i suggested?

I'm not calling you. They're as good as any.

But James Chambers is probably the only fit player available and if I were Weso and King right now I'm not sure I'd want to go out half fit to be a sacrificial lamb.

Lack of games means both will be getting less and less match fit. This puts them in a lose/lose situation.

I don't believe they'll oust Oakley (signed to be a fixture) or Clemence (club captain) whatever they do and if they play badly because they're unfit the manager will think he's even more justified in taking that line.
