The People's Hero Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 How much care do you take of yourself? For the first time the other week I started using an aftershave balm type thing and it's really helped out (I shave with razor everyday so skin can get sore). I don't usually go in for lots of products like that etc... how about yourselves? Modern, moisturiser using man? Or traditional shunners of said 'useless' stuff? GO!
MC Prussian Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 I usually leave it to a shave. But then again, I just purchased a whole package of Issey Miyake's stuff last week - including an aftershave lotion. Gotta start using it like real men do.

Gotta start using it like real men do. Got plenty of aftershave etc, just never really went in for exfoliating scrubs, moisturing face washes and stuff like that. My girlfriend has bought me a lovely Clinique/Clarins (I forget which) set though, which she is now moaning I haven't touched since Christmas so I suppose I ought to start using it. Or at least hide it... out of sight out of mind, right?
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 I use my Mrs' nivea moisturiser after a shave and its like theres a party on my face and every ones invited!! But yeah, grooming and generally looking after your body is something I do and all blokes/lads/men should follow. Using the odd moisturiser here and there doesn't make you a bird.... does it??

Phube Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 I wash with king of Shaves Pre shave wash (only when shaving). Then use after shave balm/gel. Other than that it's just Shampoo, shower gel and Deodorant every day!
Daggers Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Hahaha! I wish I knew what I'd written that was funny I do bath on Sundays.
AyewJoking Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 I read in mens magazines how you should moisturise etc and I always think, "yeah, I'll do that" but I never get round to it! Been using aftershave balm for ages now. Dont know how anyone could get by without it!
Bert Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 To shave, i use Nivea shaving gel, then moisturize afterwards. Deodorant is an essential everyday thing, as is aftershave. Body's a temple, like.
Phube Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 King of Shaves, IMO is the best stuff out there! There Black shaving gel stuff is wonderful!
The People's Hero Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 I'm a metrosexual and vain. It's bad news. I was going to say it's better than being homosexual and not giving a shit about your appearance, but I'd better check with Ultra first and I'll get back to you. Mwahahahahaha. I'm gonna get slapped wrists for that but I reckon it was worth it.
Unit Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 the only cream type things i use are shaving cream, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant and showergel (not all at once, each in it's appropriate place) apart from that I just leave myself to it.
