I've said it before and I'll say it again...anyone remotely claiming to be interested in music should get a copy of 1001 Albums and work their way through it sampling the delights online ~ and when you find one you like, buy it and add it to your collection to become the envy of all those who will admire your exquisite taste.

Faith No More - Angel Dust

Now THERE is a good album. I'll be damn well dusting that baby off later!

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

Could argue all day which we think their best album was (as you'll see above I think it's Mellon Collie) but this is a bloody good album too! (as is Gish actually!). Anyone know what Zeitgeist is like?

Sorry - classic case of someone joining a band and ruining it - I love Fleetwood Mac pre-Nicks.

Great blues band turned into AOR band -

Mick Fleetwood wanted Lindsey Buckingham as the replacement guitarist. He insisted that Stevie be apart of the group or there would be no deal. He was the best guitarist since Peter Green .........oh well!

I feel Pearl Jam are one of the most underated bands especially in england I believe they won a poll of best american rock band ever in the states but in the UK they don't seem to get much attention. But they still sell bucketloads of albums over here and every concert sells out in minutes.

People still see them as grunge I would like to hand them riot act (2002 album) and they will understand what an amazing band they are, plus they are amazing live.
