We need to beat plymouth.............. to help to avoid relegation, to beat Ollie's old team and to shut em up and to give us a morale boost. This is my starting line-up to maximise our chances.

To start:

Alnwick

Clapham (left)

Stears (right)

Macauley

Kis

Clemence

Oakley

Hume (right)

Mattock (left)

DJ

Howard

Bench:

Henderson

Bruno

Fryatt

Bori

Wezza

Chambers (A)

Cox

Not gone for Laz - im unimpressed and he needs to 'acclimatise'

Opinions please

'Keep the faith' merchants need not reply

Ollie will know this game is important, psychologically as well as for points - we need to win, no excuses.

Not the best of times for us to meet Plymouth really. They'll not need much motivation for this game, nor should we after yesterday either.

I hope we see a couple of changes to the team, personally I feel it's needed.

Alnwick

Stearman----Kisnorbo-----McAuley-----Clapham

Bori-------Clemence--------Oakley-------Laczko

Howard------DJ

If Clapham can get down to work quickly and find some fitness I'd like to see him start ahead of Mattock, he's been at fault for a couple of goals lately, perhaps time for a change.

Hume wide right isn't working for me either, we need natural wingers and we need to use them effectively. As we did against Coventry.

Hayles hasn't done a lot wrong. However DJ is a better partner in my opinion should he maintain match fitness.

And finally, I wonder how long it will take for the rallying call from a member of the squad to be the 12th man or get behind the boys!

I miss the old Team v Oppo threads. The pre-match ones just degenerate into waffle, no more so than this week for obvious reasons.

The only reason I started merging them was because people were starting them on the Sunday before the next game and we invariably ended up with posts say X is injured, suspended, left.

There's no reason why we still cant have the two. Perhaps after Plymouth would be good time to reintroduce them. :dunno:

Could do, just my opinion. :)

I'd be tempted to go with:

Alnwick

Chambers Kisnorbo Mcauley Mattock

Bori Oakley Weso/Clemence Zsolt

Howard Fryatt/Dj

Hume could do with a rest as he hasn't really been himself of late, with Fryatt coming in if Dj's not fully fit.

Unsure of whether to play Weso or Clemence though. I thought Weso played pretty well against Norwich.

My team would be:

Alnwick

Chambers Kisnorbo Mcauley Mattock

Bori Oakley Weso Zsolt

Howard Hume

This assuming Stearman is suspended.

Glad to see most of you are not picking Hayles, he is the one I fear most!

To be honest I think he'll start though. He's been playing pretty well for us since he's been here so I expect to see him start with Howard.

I think he'll start as well. Especially after Holloway has been quoted on saying he wants people that play for the shirt and not their wage packets. I'd say Hayles is certainly in that category.

Stearman is injured buddy but other than that fairly good team...hope we stuff them. really hope hayles comes on and scores then celebrates by running away kissing his leicester badge so the pastie munchers can see very clearly :P

Which Leicester team will turn up.

This will be the first step to 'playing for ollie' Like Plymouth did.

Lets win big.

This is not true. As Ollie said, their club play for their badge,, nothing to do with the manager, they've nearly had as many as us in the last few seasons...apparently Norris played under 5 different management regimes. It is the badge that counts.

I am concerned we do not play for our badge. Ollie has gone on record as to what he thinks of the dressing room culture here. I trust he can turn it around..hopefully he learnt something down there.

N'Gotty McAuley Kisnorbo Mattock

Hume Clemence Oakley Zsolts

Campbell Howard

Subs: Henderson Chambers Wesolowski Bori Hayles

Hume right wing, are you mad :o you must be.

Id swap Bori for Hume and Hayles for Howard and play Chambers right back.
