Durnerz Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 What the F**k was that all about? Unless you were the parents of those kids or Gary Glitter how on earth could you enjoy that? This club doesnt just have its problems on the pitch!
Master Fox Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 What the F**k was that all about?Unless you were the parents of those kids or Gary Glitter how on earth could you enjoy that? This club doesnt just have its problems on the pitch! The club/fans/players, the whole set up is a joke and embarrassment. The whole collective has lost the plot. Visiting the Walkers Stadium leaves you feeling like you should never wish to return to such a god-awful place again. The whole experiencing these days leaves you feeling dirty and more stupid for having wasted another Saturday afternoon with 1000’s more half witted people like everyone else who goes.
danny. Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 it was terrible, i had no idea what was going on, just some kids walking around the pitch.... then again it's always crap, hasn't been anything good since filbert street to be honest
Durnerz Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 What happened to 'On me Shed son'? Or even the penalty shootouts for prizes, crossbar challenge, 5-a-side whatever. Doesn't take a genius, clearly too hard for some.
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Not as bad as the reading out of the team by a fan
Matt Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Not as bad as the reading out of the team by a fan That really is awful, I cringe every time.
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 I was waiting for the silly old witch to show up, chasing those poor kids down the tunnel... Lacklustre performance. What's up next? A wheelchair race?
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 What the F**k was that all about?Unless you were the parents of those kids or Gary Glitter how on earth could you enjoy that? This club doesnt just have its problems on the pitch! Those kids would have all had free tickets in the Community Corner I'm guessing. It's all part of getting more people involved in Leicester City Football Club. They would have sampled the Family Atmosphere at the Walkers. I bet they can't wait for there next visit.
Samilktray Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Bet they loved it running round the pitch, bless them. Why the moaning ? Makes no real difference to the game.
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Bet they loved it running round the pitch, bless them. Why the moaning ? Makes no real difference to the game. It's not about the game. It's about the whole attitude the club is taking to the "Matchday Experience" The thing before the game with the kids walking out with the players was a little odd to me as well. You had Plymouth running out, looking raring to go. Then you had us, walking into the centre circle with a bunch of kids, looking lackluster and unmotivated.

There is a clear lack of motivation/passion/desire, whatever you want to call it from our team consistently
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 There is a clear lack of motivation/passion/desire, whatever you want to call it from our team consistently Without a doubt. Which is why I didn't like what happened before the match. Everything that is said and done when you arrive on a match day is taken onto the pitch I feel. It's poor preperation.
davieG Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 I wouldn't be surprised to find this written on the tunnel entrance: Welcome to Leicester City Football Club Take these 3 points with our blessingCaring for the Community
Daggers Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 I could not care less about half-time entertainment - it's the lack of any during the 45 minutes either side that bothers me.
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Another moan I know, but... Why is Birch "welcoming" other fans to the Walkers? We should be making this place a shit place for away fans to come not welcoming them into the ground to piss all over us.
DB11 Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 The last good thing I remember was the frisbee game () or the fire eaters.
lee7 Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 the half time entertainment has been poor for ages but it's the entertainment in the 45 minuites either side of half time that i'm concerned about.
WetFlannel Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Can't be worse than Stokes. They have loads of 6 year olds on the pitch to do shooting pratice in flimsy goals that are about 1ft wide.

Just a theory but I don't think the FA would be too pleased if Birch said ''Fook off you pastie munching cnuts''.
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Just a theory but I don't think the FA would be too pleased if Birch said ''Fook off you pastie munching cnuts''. Yeah, because that's definitely the alternative.

That makes two of us then
Ibbyfox Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Not as bad as the reading out of the team by a fan I was holding my head in my hands when she tried to build up the "Huuuuuume" and got no response whatsoever!! Cringeworthy
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 I was holding my head in my hands when she tried to build up the "Huuuuuume" and got no response whatsoever!! Cringeworthy Same, and when she couldn't pronounce Kisihishev.
WetFlannel Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Same, and when she couldn't pronounce Kisihishev. I felt sorry for the person at Coventry... They found the Hungarians pretty hard to pronounce.
