You get great pensions, work about 30 weeks a year, 9-3ish each day, competitive salary. Besides, if you want the better bucks but to look after your own pension come over to the private sector. I want to strike. Hence I'm bitter.

SamL Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 In my school years 10 and 11 get the day off, whereas 6th Form have to go in. Unfortunately, I'm in 6th Form. I thought it should have been the other way round considering year 11 have got GCSE's to revise for.

Then there was our history teacher who had a Polish surname I can't remember, but I do remember that she would come and sit on my desk with very short skirts on and cross her oh so long legs. Didn't have any more lessons after lunch. On thursday I have 6 lessons and don't finish until 4.30, which is pretty shit. The rest of the days are easy pretty much.

The NUT is taking ridiculous action. What bellend organisation organises strike action at the most critical time of their year? It's equivalent to a football manager striking the week before his team competes in the Champions League final if you ask me. Not to mention that they're not that far out of line with inflation compared to some and the fact that they're not going to get what they want anyway. So why someone would want to strike in sympathy is beyond me.
