Hello,

I'm a reporter with the Norwich Evening News and we're putting together a commemorative booklet to give to Dion Dublin to mark his retirement from playing professional football at the end of this season. We're really keen for fans from all his old clubs to get involved and send us their tributes too - all of which will be put in the finished souvenir to give to Dion. I'm sure some of you must have some brilliant memories of his time at Leicester. Hi,

I know he was a great footballer in his day but (i may get slaughtered for this) he only came here for money. He evidentley didn't care and put in mostly pathetic performances. His sending off 10 minutes into his debut was a particular low. Probably best to ask Cov and Villa fans. Got a big willy tho :)

I like Dion he was ok for us.... I liked him as a centre half better than a forward....

He wasn't great for us, better in defence than up front, but scored the winner at Charlton in the Cup and a superb volley against someone? Still a great servant to football, very down-to-earth and deserves a lot of pats on the back (but not for all the goals he scored against us >_< )

you can stick your Dion up your arse! He did nothing for this club and underminded Micky Adams (who is also shiite) that is why he was gotten rid of for the 2nd time.

Agree, if waving you're arms about and gesticulating as well ingratiating yourself on the fans without actually contributing anything worthwhile for 90% of the game then Dublin's been our best signing ever.

He was Leicester born. Can't really boo one of your own can you, he wasn't that bad for us overall, better than some of the shit we've paid 6 and 7 figures for.

I suppose so, he was a disappointment though. His homecoming and all that, with supposed gas left in the tank and didn't score many goals at all. At centre back he was solid though.

it didn't work out as planned, he got miffed when he wasn't offered a role after Levien's departure and left!!!

Am I the only one that thought technique wise Dion was one of the best players at the club recently. I liked him. And he could use his meat to keep the academy boys in line, hence why our youngsters are soo good.

His Rotherham 890 yard volley wasn't bad either.

Some hilarious moments while he was here, Blackpool at home in the FA Cup, trying to skill a striker but got tackled and we conceded lol ................and Watford away, made a brilliant goal-line clearance in the first half before getting ripped silly by Ashley Young who scored. lol

Yeah i know he was born in Leicester.... I personally dont mind the guy, but my question was really because most fans always have negative things to say about him...

Promised so much, delivered so little. Journeyman here for the dolla' but thanks for the Charlton goal and somehow managing to keep strikers 12 inches away from him at all times when in defence, especially with back to goal.

Dion will always be rembered by me as the man that cleared Ashley Youngs amazing run off the line.
