Right then... I've gone with Stearman and Mcauley to deal with the physicality and pace of the strikers at centre-back as oppose to Bruno and Mcauley, because if Bruno was to play we would sit deeper which we won't want with players like Lawrence lurking at the edge of the box. I was a bit stuck on whether to go for the experience of Clapham to deal with Lawrence or the pace and passion of Mattock. I chose Mattock for his distribution and mainly for the fact he could easily keep up with Lawrence. I have also gone with two small nippy strikers up front, without Kisnorbo and Clapham we would very much wipe out the long-ball so no need for the donkey Howard, instead play it into feet around Leon Cort - we will win many more free-kicks and Howard would only lose the physical battle. Our aim with this team is to run them ragged, play the ball on the floor, into feet and play at a very high tempo.

But if we play this team, which could be likely all I can see is DEFEAT and RELEGATION and OLLIE OUT!:

Just think he's a better player end of. Steamran has made an improvement, yes but how chambers has been ignored by ollie prety much since he arrived is one of the only things thats really annoyed me about his selection.

Looks a positive well balanced team, with Kisnorbo out Stearman is probably the most suited player to play centre back as Worley hasn't played enough for us and N'Gotty will be to slow to deal with there strikers, but i like Stearman as right back as he gets forward alot and looks useful so not sure whats best

I defo wouldn't play Howard as it encourages us to knock long balls and if we want to compete with Stoke we need to play the ball on the floor and go for it, it hasn't really worked with Howard up front so Ollie shouldn't start with him. He's good to have as a sub if we are chasing the game but he shouldn't start, but i bet he does

That looks well balanced aswell, how about playing Hayles instead of Chambers as he's proved over the past few games that he's good at defending and looks good coming forward. Chambers is worthy of a place though but he hasn't played too much lately and Stoke is such a big game
