Now who said 'Big Sam' was coming?

I thought you were a good shout to become manager. You seem to know what you are on about.

I'm off down bookies tomorrow.

Leicester to win the League, JPT & Allardyce Manager of the Year.

Please,

Come Christmas, people might realise this isn't going to be a walkover, ask any Forest fan.

Paul Ince did brilliantly with Macclesfield keeping them up didn't he? Before Mk Dons snapped him up like.

What about Dave Penny as manager?

Whats the point whoever he suggests your just going to knock it so why should he bother lol

I just want people to be slighty realistic, thats all mate.

I'm all for giving people a chance but I think it's fair to say, after 30 odd games and a fair whack to send. Theres no defending relegation.

The only thing he's got going for him is he's got out of League One before.

He's been shat on royally by players who didn't care - who came here for a Mandaric salary cheque and nothing more.

I still believe he can get a different team playing for us, one consisting of players he wants and not that he has been co-opted into taking. Players you by during the summer are not the same ones as you get during Xmas - and we all know that Xmas purchases rarely work out, and so it has transpired.

Aren't we all forgetting that none of this is down to us?

What we need is a manager brought in (or a manager kept) on footballing terms rather than the idiotic whines of the fans.

Neil Warnock has been brilliant this season for Palace, but the fans drove him away because we are too proud of our "Premiership" team - They all said he didnt deserve to manage us after what he said. Well we havent been in the Top division since 2004, and now we are in League 1. Doesn't sound very premiership to me.

Megson wasn't brilliant, but he wouldn't have got us anywhere near the drop, and again he's doing well in "our" league - the Premiership.

People have said that Ollie doesnt deserve to manage us anymore. None of this matters. We need whatever will get results.

Leicester Fans should only be involved with LCFC to the extent of:

1.Paying the gates

2. Following the team

3. Making some noise

The sooner people stop being so ignorantly proud about Leicester, and leave the football decisions to people that have been involved for 30 years+ the better. We are where we are. We are not Premiership. We are not Championship. We are League 1.

Keeping Ollie could work wonders - in much the same manner that it could drag the club down further. Bringing in a new manager could have equally different affects on LCFC.

Whatever happens with the manager - we need to either keep Ollie and back him fully - players/fans/board/chairman - or get in someone else by the end of this week or the next. The rebuilding of the squad needs to start NOW.

Warnock has hated this club for over 20 years. He had too many credibility issues to manage us, simple as. The fans were right to tell Mandaric to steer clear.

Megson wasn't brilliant, but he wouldn't have got us anywhere near the drop

Really? I bet Forest fans thought that in 2004-05...

.

Yes, but with Sam Allardyce's players..

People have said that Ollie doesnt deserve to manage us anymore. None of this matters. We need whatever will get results.

Agreed. However the evidence of the past five months indicates that the current manager is not the best person to provide this.

The sooner people stop being so ignorantly proud about Leicester, and leave the football decisions to people that have been involved for 30 years+ the better. We are where we are. We are not Premiership. We are not Championship. We are League 1.

Except such people have often been the ones who have consistently failed this club in the past and again now.

Using the defeatist catchphrase of another failed manager doesn't enhamce your argument, either..

Welcome but a somewhat strange and puzzling first post.

So are you saying we should close the forum down? I don't see anyone on here making decisions they are just airing a view, are they not entitled to that irresepective as to whether you agree with it. Isn't this just like a cyber pub? Should we ban alll talk of football?

If Mandaric is taking seriously anything posted on here then he's only got himself to blame.

I don't really see the point of your post but then again I'm happy that you feel able to post it just like anyone else on here.

After thinking about it we really should keep Holloway for next season. He knows the players and i can't see any new manager coming in and getting us promoted straight away. No good managers will want to come to us now. Ollie got QPR promoted from League 1 so he is our best bet.

Name me a good alternative that will get us out of League 1 in one season?

Davies and Allardyce won't want to come here now.

Now is the time for stability, i know some fans are saying get rid of all the losers that took us down but we shouldn't let them escape.

They are all under contract and can get us out of this mess.

Our strikers in League 1 now look superb, Fryatt, Howard, Campbell, Hume could all bag 20 goals easily in my view.

I'm angry and devastated Ollie has took us down but we should stick with him. He knows the players and may even learn from his mistakes and sign players who are hungry to play for the shirt. I'm sure he will bring in more youngsters too.

If we do stick with Holloway i think we can storm League 1 and come 1st but sacking another manager could leave us in more relegation trouble.

If Dowie does come in and starts badly, signs the wrong players like Allen, we may end up in exactly the same predictament as this season.

Stick with Ollie and we will come straight back up.

The Lunatics have taken over the ASYLUM !!!

Olly is the best manager we are going to get. He's positive and enthusiastic. Yes he can wind up some folk but he cant get 100% support.

We've already had 7 managers in 2007 another change is going to mean another rebuild.

I take it from your name tag or what ever it's called -you are Holloway's nephew or relative !

If not,you must be from the Planet Zod !!

It was supposed to be ironic, as was the sig. But surely you agree another change is a bad idea?

Ironic or moronic? :dunno:

The manager has been a complete and utter failure during his time with us.

Therefore we have to get rid. End of.

No i don't !

No way Jose !!!

Ermmm -actually Jose would be just the cat's whiskers !!

Yep-He'd do nicely !!

But

Seriously--------

Forget Holloway-he's a loser-he's just proved it !!

Yes I agree - My first post was rather odd. Some mixed messages in there to be honest.

Of course should be able to think/say what they want.

But what I was generally saying was that hopefully Mandaric will not bow to pressure from the fans and employ whoever he thinks is right, because the fans havent got it right either over the last few years.

My other main point was that Ollie staying or going is largely irrelevant because we won't know the real effects of either possibility until the season is in full sway.

What needs to happen is we either need to keep Ollie and fully back him in all ways possible and begin to rebuild the squad immediately.

OR

Bring a replacement and fully back him.

Either way - the worst situation would be to have more than one manager over the next season and yet again have differing squad development.

Anyone who is seriously suggesting that we keep Ian Holloway is twisted. He is our WORST EVER MANAGER. In 124 years!!!!! What possible reason would we have to keep him? I'd rather we got David Pleat back than keep Ian Holloway.
