Oh I was, but when the cold reality of Carlisle away in December sets in, I wonder how many will still bother. I'm going to see how the next few days pan out before I get going with this. I'm disillusioned at the moment and so are a lot of people from a quick scan of this board tonight.

..but ...but...I've just filled in my ticket booking form and ticked the box for Carlisle.

You mean I'm going all the way up there and there's not going to be a flag?

I am planning on carrying on up north after the game, and spending the rest of the weekend in Edinburgh. I love Edinburgh.

I'm planning on getting back down South again as quickly as possible. Stupid cold, wet North.

Just not getting any time to talk to the club at the moment, so busy with this new job. Someone might have to ring up on my behalf. Literally only getting a couple of minutes to post this and now I'm off to work and won't be back til 6.

Basically would people still be willing to pay up if it was just draped over the seats at home games instead of being passed over heads etc? It's a good idea in theory but in practice I'm getting feedback that it won't work.

It's a toughie. What about a smaller flag that we could just take to games as part of the usual FT gang, or several small flags/??

I've been in touch with Fez and said I'd give Peter Jones a call today. The giant flag is worth pursuing. Let's see what he says.

Has the club said that?

If so why did they have that mostrocity that was the phonestyle flag which was a disater!

Also have they ever seen clubs with very passionate supporters and how they manage to get by with their flags? i'm thinking of south american supporters, yes liverpool, Italians the list could go on & on!

Why dont we ask the club to buy us a giant Leicester shirt?

Without the Topps Tiles Logo on it please. :P

I'm still up for donating some money towards a flag/giant shirt.

Well it's just an idea I think the foxestalk flag is a good idea, but it would be unfair for people to be donating there money and us change our shirt next season which will happen. We could ask the club to donate us a giant Leicester shirt which can be passed acrossed the walkers and away grounds which we go to for a reward of our fantastic support last season?

Fez/ JTB have you spoken to the club yet if you havent could you please ask about this?

Sounds like a pretty decent idea mate.

What happened to the huge flag the club had at the beginning of last season? It just disappeared.

I've left a message with Peter Jones to call me back. I didn't mention the shirt idea in my answer phone message but will suggest it when/if he calls me back.

To be honest I'd be surprised if the club were willing to pay for something like that. Unnecessary expenses (however much they will be welcomed by supporters) are probably a no go area following relegation...

why not have a big leicester badge because the shirts change every other year but the badge stays the same
