My club Leicester City does not sometimes treat it players with respect. Max is one of the players whom I believe has been treated badly.

1. How recent did he sign the new contract I've forgot, before or after the Ipswich bid? Obviously if after then no such clause would have existed.

2. If before the bid, maybe it only accounted for £800,000 if they got promoted/stayed up/he made X appearances and so was only a 'maybe £800,000' not triggering the clause?

You are correct but at this time Gareth was under his old contract. It was not until after this offer that Gareth signed a new contract with this new silly clause.

Mattock has not signed any new contract. No one is even in talks yet as to is staying or going. Apart from those out of contract. Some footballers have told me their wishes but as yet Leicester have done nothing new.
