Ipswich to raid relegated Foxes for duo

Defender Gareth McAuley and Richard Stearman are targets for Town boss Jim Magilton

McAuley was strongly linked with a move to Portman Road in January and relegation for Leicester has increased the likelihood of his leaving in the summer.

Full-back Stearman is also set to be a wanted man with the Foxes consigned to League One football.

Both good players but we have no choice i think Stearman but i think that McAuley will definetly end up going Ipswich

Said in another thread I expected Ipswich to come back. I think he wil end up there for c.500k plus add ons etc.

McAuley will certainly be realistically leaving this summer, especially to Ipswich who have been interested for a while now.

Stearman on the other hand I'm not sure about.

i think it's inevitable that McAuley will end up at Ipswich after their interest earlier in the season.

I can't really see Stearman going there though, I think he will end up at some one a little bigger.

If we offered Mcauley the captaincy, it might give him an incentive to stay.

I don't want either to go. Stearman is a great prospect for the future whereas Mcauley would come up trumps in this year.

Stearman can do better than Ipswich Town.

I'd say seven figures at least or he isn't going anywhere. He should want to help get us out of this league.

When Ipswich offered that in January I would've snapped their hands off.

If Stearman leaves I can honestly only seeing it being a move to a Premier League team. Dont know why I think this but...

McAuley will hopefully stay.

Love to keep them both, but unlikely! Dont think Stearman is Villa quality though, Stearman will always be Championship standard

Mcauley I think will leave and go to ipswich. 1million would be good enough for me.

As for stearman I cant see him leaving his hometown club to go to Ipswich to be quite honest, unless offered silly money.
