anyone dying to jump ship?

There are some that do not want Ollie as boss. In general most want to stay. Stearman and Mattock both want to stay but they may have no say in this.

Promising, although they'll still go.

That seems to be a theme of quite a few of our managers recently

Players always come out (as you'd expect) and talk about how great their manager is and how they want to do well for them and then you hear about how they REALLY feel.

I assume Hume is one of those, what with Ollie wanting to sell him despite being one of our only respectable player of last season.

I can't think that telling the media everyday that he's working with a crock of sh1te makes them like him much either

Well they could always reject a move themselves....

To all that know me. I do not lie.

Mcauley has a release clause where he can leave Leicester for £750,00. This was put in his new contract because Leicester thought they would still be in the championship.

If Holloway stays Kishishev and Hume will leave. Holloway tried to sell Hume last transfer window. Even knowing that the manager did not want him. Iain has played his heart out for this club. I know some dislike him, but for me he is our top scorer (scoring as a midfielder) and you dont get rid of your top scorcer. You get rid of the ones not scoring. Then again who the hell wants DJ?

Both Richard Stearman and Joe mattock have a very high chance of leaving. Both to Premier teams. Max Gradel. 10 goals in this league from midfield in a crap team. is only 50/50 to come back to Leicester. I know he has signed a new contract but there are 4 championship teams after him. Leicester have in the past treated Max very poorly.

Players already moved on. rab Douglas, Alan Maybury, Alan Sheehan, Mark De vries, Jamie Clapham, Zsolt Laczko, Gabor Bori(German team)

Players going. Elvis Hammond, Sergio Hellings,

Players rated doubtful for next season. Richard Stearman, Joe Mattock, Radostin Kishishev, Max Gradel, Iain Hume, Gareth Mcauley, and James Chambers

Playes back. Eric Odihambo, Louis Dodds, Jonathan Hayes, Conrad Logan( if Stockport get out we expect an offer)

I doubt Kish and Hume will be the only ones looking to leave if Holloway stays. I can think of four or five more.

It's hard to fully evaluate the damage Holloway has done so far and in so many ways.

But reading what you say, and not doubting a word of it, there's very little to take comfort in for the season ahead.

Wise, effective and inspiring leadership is the key and we're so short of it.

Until we get some we're likely to stay in freefall.

Good decisions need to made and quickly.

Holloway has mismanaged them horribly. It doesn't take an insider to know the players can't be happy with him. He simply has to go.

I think we should get a foreigner we've never heard of in.

His first name should be Gianluigi.

QPR want him as well, a bidding war has been sparked between them and Ipswich, apparantly the price could end up being £1.5m.

I don't understand why anyone decides to include a buy out fee or minimum release fee into a contract. As soon as they get good, you regret it because this orginially ambitious fee could turn out to be pittence.

To persuade the player to sign?

Leicester Turn Down Another McAuley Bid?

Sunday 01 Jun 2008 12:07:37 by Phil

Town have had a £1 million bid for central defender Gareth McAuley turned down by Leicester City, according to one of Sunday’s tabloids. Boss Jim Magilton has been chasing the Northern Ireland international since January when he previously had three offers rebuffed by the Foxes. McAuley is widely tipped to leave the Walkers Stadium this summer after Leicester’s relegation to League One with Magilton viewing the 28-year-old as a replacement for the retiring Jason De Vos. QPR, managed by Magilton’s best friend Iain Dowie, are also understood to be after the Larne-born defender.

Town’s interest in McAuley, who scored two goals in the Foxes’ 2-0 win at Portman Road in February 2007, first surfaced in early January with the Blues continuing to pursue the former Linfield, Crusaders, Coleraine and Lincoln man throughout the transfer window.

McAuley, 6ft 3in tall, joined Leicester on a free transfer from Lincoln in the summer of 2006 after his contract at Sincil Bank came to an end.

Capped 10 times by Northern Ireland, McAuley signed a new contract at Leicester in February aimed at keeping him at the Walkers Stadium until 2011, however, it is rumoured that a clause in that deal will allow him to leave for a fee at a pre-agreed level now that Leicester have been relegated.

Wow, wouldn't have thought Mandaric would turn such a substantial bid down...

If I was him id try and play QPR and Ipswich off against each other, especially considering how much QPR have available.

The ones I'd like to stay are the most likely to leave. Whoever leaves it makes sense to get as much money as possible to fill Milan's the clubs coffers.

PS don't leave it 18 months till your next post.

sell them both, neither are the greatest defenders. stearman is overated and frequently out of position and macauley doesn't like anyone running at him. to be honest a general clearing of the playing staff who have played for city during the last few terrible seasons will help the club.
