Matt Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Renewed my Season Ticket today. I know we have a League 1 Roll Call thread but place your confirmed Season Ticket purchases here.
clazkel Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Renewed mine today aswell (well yesterday), block L1 I asked how many season tickets have been sold so far when i was in the ticket office today and i was told only 550, which apparently is on par with how many had been sold at this time last year, but i thought and hoped we would've sold over a thousand by now.

Not really a good sign though! But if the ticket office is to be believed (Fair enough...When has this club been truthful and kept us informed) then all is ok, and really we should expect to have less Season Ticket Holders and lower attendances by a couple of hundred tbh. Considering its only a week after the season has finished, a season in which relegation has happened, and the fact season tickets renewal's have only been availiable for 2/3 weeks in which we were in a relegation battle, I would say it was anything too bad or any crisis. I doubt we'd be breaking the thousand mark even if we had stayed up/been in a better position.

Well done in one sense, I can't and won't knock you! It's just that it's been so many years now that I want to see what happens management wise and all that etc. I just don't feel that I can back IH full stop. If he stays I (we go)............
jnc2006 Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 i got our 4 friday, just get yours you know you want to!!!

SamL Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I just haven't got the money at the moment. I hope the the May 31st deadline gets extended, if not I might not be able to afford it. What with the cost of living going up and everything, I can't see many being sold before May 31st.
Houdini Logic Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 Renewed mine yesterday. They have only sold 550 so far. Ouch
demon_dog Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 Despite having severe reservations about buying a ticket if Ollie stays as manager, I probably will renew albeit very reluctantly if he stays. Will definetely go down on Tuesday to renew. But now for my cunning plan!! Will walk in with the cash in my pocket, will ask that since I am paying cash what discount would they give me? Will almost certainly get told that's the price no discounts. I'll have a go a haggling, state that (if Ollie is staying), since I saw a load of dross served up by the team under this present management, then why should I pay same price for the same again? Probably still get the same answer. As if they care!!

The ticket office staff have no influence or authority to consider such requests and even if done jokingly will have more to worry about than the price of STs, like whether they'll still have a job next week!

Ah, another bit of the cunning plan falls into place!! If their gonna be out of work next week will they care if they flog me a cut price ticket.

A falw in your plan is that they don't know yet and my point was they'd be a bit pissed off by some joker coming.
sdb Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 stupid and committed imo, but well done 550 - oh dear oh dear. i'd have thought a few thousand would usually be gone by now
Jimmy Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 gunna renew mine as soon as I can get the deposit together ...
syston_fox Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I will be renewing but its just a case of when I can be bothered to go and do it.
lildave3 Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I will be renewing but its just a case of when I can be bothered to go and do it. Same.
ashwj Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I'v had one for 14 years but I'm not renewing mine, I'v had enough for a while.
Maybes Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I will be renewing but its just a case of when I can be bothered to go and do it. Exactly my predicament.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I'm not renewing mine. I'm not sure what I'll be doing next year so can't guarantee being able to make mid-week fixtures. Can still see myself going to a fair few home games and hopefully a lot of away ones though. I can see there being so many ticket promotions throughout next season that I could go to most home games and only spend £100 They put on enough deals this season so can imagine what it'll be like next season.
