coale39 Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 He died some 30 years ago, anyway! So its been a ghost this whole time?! I wondered how he moved so fast!
bigneville Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Sheehan won't be signing. How come you so certain Bert?
act smiley Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Considering that its pretty common knowledge he wants out, its probably just a way of ensuring we get compensation for him. I would've thought Kishishev & Hellings would have been been released too as they both seem a waste of wages due to their lack of first team involvement. Probably hoping to give them away - unlike these lot they've got another year on their deals.
shen Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Didn't Sheehan reject a new deal a while ago? So why would he accept one now? He probably wouldn't, but the point is, if we don't offer him a new deal at the same or higher wages, he could **** off to another club for free upon the expiry of his contract. A tribunal would set the fee if he were to leave now
Ric Flair Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Page 6 and No Thracian yet. He's golfing with Tommy Tejan-Sie.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 He's golfing with Tommy Tejan-Sie. Ah the midfield genius who can now be found in a Burger King near you.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 darker, re your sig...i like the way you compensate for supporting city with some gratuitous glory supporting! although i don't know where FK Bluepeter come into the equation? Who said anything about supporting these teams. I only have one club mate, that is city!! Let me explain this to you, because you seem to be bothered by this: So just for you my dearest: 1) Barcelona, because i have been visiting the Nou Camp for the last 6 years and have always FOLLOWED them 2) Zenit St Petersberg because i have admired there football throughout this tournement, i have FOLLOWED a lot of there games through my excellent chipped satalite reciever (don't tell the russians, i will be had for spying) 3) Juventus because my missus is a Juve fan, so obviously i have a soft spot for them So there you go, plain and simple, next time i might ask you how often do you get to watch City?? But i am not as concerned as much as you!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 I've just found out that Tommy Tea-jang bag of shit is actually playing for Dagenam and Redbrige (reserves) Our loss eh
sdb Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 i'd like sheehan t o go just so his name is never mentioned again!!
Staf Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Its a start still think we need to get rid of alot more but i suppose this is good news but i hope there is more players released by the time the new season starts.
Bryn Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Sheehan and Dodds would have their uses in League One but I doubt either will sign. I expect the other youngsters will though, hopefully Beswick is in line for a place in the first team next season. I've always liked the sound of this Billy McKay as well.

Super Arj Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 New contact for Sheehan did I just read preparing for Mattock to leave??
DB11 Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Sheehan was slagging the club off to a fake James Scowcroft on facebook. Why would anyone pretend to be James Scowcroft? Does he really merit that? How do you know it wasn't a fake Sheehan?
Simi Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Sheehan won't sign, almost certain of that. Can't see why he'd want to in all fairness.
Stevosevic Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 How do you know it wasn't a fake Sheehan? It wasn't. I think it had pictures of him on various nights out with DeVries and Williams etc..
lavrentis Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 It wasn't. I think it had pictures of him on various nights out with DeVries and Williams etc.. This is news to me, can you recall on what he said?
renards Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 I doubt if the clowns had anything to do with who's going and who's staying. He'll be at the training ground tending to " Maaartin Allens Blue Flowers"
Cheese Me Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 Not a lot to add. Pleased by all the releases - wee need to cut the squad, just want to see more exits to follow. Pleased by the offers to youth. Can't see Dodds featuring tbh Hope Sheehan does sign. He's plenty good enough for us, good enough in the championship too just sadly under used. To the posters saying it's so we get a fee. I think because of his age we'd get a fee if he left even if he was out of contract, it would be decided by tribunal.

Getting subbed at Charlton after coming on as a sub makes me disagree with your point, other than that I can't see any other games he's played well in.

Personal opnion, like so much else on here. However I would add the fact that he has always been highly rated as a youngster who has seemed to haev a lot of potential and in as Irish U21 international to help back up my argument.
