hmmm will definitely have to take that into consideration then!

Yeah, it's still difficult for me as i won't be going to Leicester at those times i'll just be going back to York, but i know what you mean!

Think you've just about sold it to me! Have you got a job there? Is it easy too if you're at the uni?

I do 2 and a half hours each way from York so will probably add another hour on top of that! Think my heart's set on Newcastle now though!

I've not got a job there yet purely because I've been a lazy bastard but getting one after Christmas! Really easy to get into promoting etc. as long as you do it early and meet as many people as possible. Especially if you do guestlisting where it's a £1 per person you get in, there are so so many people in Leazes and it's really easy to be making a decent amount of money. You won't regret it I guarantee you.

Offers from Birmingham, Leicester, Swansea, Bangor and Chester.

Score.

What you studying Scouse? I went to Chester and whilst it isn't a top university in the league tables (which tend to go off rather irrelevant (to undergraduates) research scores) the teaching across a wide range of subjects really is top notch. Geography, English, Theology all in the top three nationwide for student satisfaction. Make sure you visit them all though, Bangor could be a bit of a shock if you haven't been before (it's a little, err, grey, as a city).

Congratulations to all with excellent offers anyway.

Cheers man.

French with Maths as a joint thingy. Aye, got a few friends at Chester and they say how nice the actual place is and how good the uni is. Think Birmingham will be first choice because it's pretty much ideal for everything, then Chester will be my back up. Yeah Bangor was an interesting place haha, not a lot there bar the uni and some buildings and fields.

Got an offer from Manchester Met.

Good news this morning.

So has my son. We're going on a visit on Sat 4th Feb so that's buggered (no pun intended) my plans to go to the Brighton game.

What are you hoping to study?

Yes, I am. Why do you ask?

Trying to make friends with fellow first year students. But I'm muture and the younger kids think I'm fat and not cool. They wont have sex with me either.

I'm trying to arrange a night out of boozing next week. Everyone is so fvcking bland and boring in my class. I'm surprised anyone even bloody drinks. Kids these days I tell ya? Soft as shit. Rubbish. Anyway some blonde 18 year old is wanting some from the 'mature guy'. She’s made her intentions very clear. I'm married though which is a bummer. I dont know? When I was 18-22 all I wanted to do was drink, take drugs and have sex with as many people as possible. I had no interest in academic studies. I would have fvcked it up so bad. Now being older '29' and wiser I have the skills to take advantage.

what are you studying, and at what uni?

Computing Science?

That might explain it, you're on the only course with bigger nerds than me.

Yeah, maybe so. Not such a bad thing I guess.

I'm a huge nerd as you can probably tell.
