Benjani Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Except for the Agents who make football tick no doubt Phil Brown will have 100's of faxes and messages over the weekend from greedy agents pimping their hoes/footballers trying to get a move as they are now promoted!!Agents certainly don't put their feet up this time of year Yeah by everyone, I meant managers/players/coaches. Badly put i know. But the transfer window doesn't open until 1st July anyway, i think.
purpleronnie Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Cant believe Hull are in the Premiership and we're in division 3.
Tommeh Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 How much does a team recieve for going up through the play offs? Not sure but I bet its merely pocket change compared to the £60M you get for simply playing 1 season in the PL
Joe. Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 I'm happy for Hull they definitely deserve it. One of the best team I've seen this season in the Championship, not only against us but in general. On the other hand, Bristol have genuinely been one of the worst I've seen and I'm still baffled they managed to make it this far. But fair play to them in their first season that they've done well- however I don't think it will last. I sense a harsh season for Hull, probably Derby-esque and a disappointing season for Bristol, no higher than bottom half.
Ultra Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Well done Hull. Their fans have been through some really rough times in the lower leagues and deserve their place in the limelight. The question now, though, is who will go down with them and Stoke next season? Once Fraizer Campbell returns to Man U neither of them will have a player of true top-flight quality between them.
Monk Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Congratulations Hull, I hope you can make something of your season. Standing in Kings Cross station at midday hearing chants echoing to the rafters brought back so many memories, I shook a Hull fan's hand and wished them good luck. A fairy tale story, I hope it doesn't end in tears.
Ultra Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 The one thing going for them is that they have no top flight history, so aren't weighed down by expectations. Any wins they get will be treated as a bonus, and any points they manage to pich off top flight clubs will be greeted like trophy wins.
Tilley Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Well done to Hull, How fitting that Dean Windass scored the winner, he just keeps going! I wouldn't be suprsied if Brizzle struggle next year in the Championship, I hope Hull stay up & Stoke go down.
Tilley Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Come on Leeds United, Beat Donny so we can have SOD if Billy Davies wont come! I think it will be 3 - 1 to Leeds.
Tilley Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Dean Windas His goal was amazing. You gotta love him. I would love him at Leicester.
Jordan Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Jermaine Beckford scored 20 goals in League One this season? What a joke. That guy refuses to put the ball on his left foot. If that's the 20-goal standard in this league, Matty Fryatt can score 50. I ought to put everything I have on Leicester winning promotion.
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Come on Leeds United,Beat Donny so we can have SOD if Billy Davies wont come! I think it will be 3 - 1 to Leeds. Yes, but if Leeds don't go up, Gary Mac is only on a 6-month rolling contract and we can get him in.
davieG Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Yes, but if Leeds don't go up, Gary Mac is only on a 6-month rolling contract and we can get him in. Why would he leave Leeds for us
Floating Fox Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Doncasters support is a complete farce. Their end is filled with Leeds fans Clubs like them don't deserve to be in thier position. However, hope they go up, just so that we get to play Leeds & don't have to visit their stadium
Daggers Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 It's amazing how running from midfield to support an attack seems to work for other clubs, I wonder why we never do it?
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Why would he leave Leeds for us He wouldn't exactly leave Leeds for us, just if his contract isn't renewed. Also, he lives around Leicester and has close connections to Leicester.
Matt Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 DONNY DONNY DONNY DONNY! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Doncaster Rovers 1 - 0 Leeds United. C'mon Donny.
davieG Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 He wouldn't exactly leave Leeds for us, just if his contract isn't renewed. Also, he lives around Leicester and has close connections to Leicester. He has close more successful connections with Leeds
Matt Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Doncasters support is a complete farce. Their end is filled with Leeds fans Clubs like them don't deserve to be in thier position. However, hope they go up, just so that we get to play Leeds & don't have to visit their stadium As it stands that could turn quite nasty, Afterall there Leeds fans, Its what they stand for. Scummy bastards.

However, hope they go up, just so that we get to play Leeds & don't have to visit their stadium Why is it a farce, they're a team that's trying to build it takes time. As for deserving their position - of course they do they've earn't it just like we've earn't ours. What's wrong with their Stadium surely it's just a smaller version of ours You sound like you should have that swastika on your arm
