The People's Hero Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Just put my walkers sensations chili crisps up 2p. Firms are just using the current climate as an excuse to ramp up the prices. Shocking. I read a shocking expose in the Daily Mail (Claire brought it home from work) about the hike in price of the cost of eggs. Shocking. I'm glad I fu cking hate eggs.
Master Fox Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Anyone notice that sandwiches have gone up in price. At least by 50p in some cases. Oh, and this club is the laughing stock of football
CKB Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 I think we should continue to be angry anyhow! PS: Paul Aldridge is a chicken fooking ugly bastard!
wirralsimon Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 I do think we shoud ship a few more players out before getting any in. Part of the problem last season was we had far too many players who were not up to standard and we kept trying to paper over the cracks by buying and loaning even more players. Simon
CKB Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Angry mob protest? We must be due one now. Yeah lets smash up Alridges car!
Craig Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 How did everyone miss that? We didn't, they changed the article to that, after misquoting him  :crylaugh:
Number 6 Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Ah the BBC, makes sense now. I wouldn't want us to sign players before a new manager is in place.
KirbyFox Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 i think he;'s trying to say that there won't be any funds avaiable until the new man as been appointed!!!! Found this on the BBC website Surely has to be incorrect Not lookign that attractive for the new manager is it ?
CKB Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Let's break Shit_arse's legs! Lets nick Alridges car to break Shit_arse's legs! kill two birds with one stone and all that! GRRRRRRRRR!! ANGRY LCFC FANS!
GLC Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 if you read it properly it said UNTILL the new managers arrived
Ric Flair Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 In light of this latest development, I still think Aldridge is lying. As if not having a manager has ever stopped Mandaric from snaffling players. I'd not rule out some incoming players before Gregory is appointed.

Kopfox Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 spot The BBC have altered the original statement and added "until a new manager"
Daggers Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 In light of this latest development, I still think Aldridge is lying. Is he? Grrr...I'm getting angry all over again!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Is he?Grrr...I'm getting angry all over again! Get somes crisps and chill!
Bert Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 I emailed Paul Aldridge, because i was quite wound up and just to see if he would actually respond. He did actually respond, but missed out some of the points that i sent in the email. He did make a massive point of how wrong the BBC Article was by adding in a link to the updated statement. Claimed that him and Milan speak every day.

Bert Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Wow. Top bombing - he never replied to me last season. I will post what i sent and his reply if i can be assed when I'm home from work.
Ric Flair Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 I'm enjoying the odd angry post from people that have still not realised that BBC mis-quoted Aldo. I bet he's been getting shit all day.
Corky Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 I'm enjoying the odd angry post from people that have still not realised that BBC mis-quoted Aldo. I bet he's been getting shit all day. Good. The bloke hasn't exactly endeared himself to the fans over the season tickets beforehand, and I just wanted to tell him to piss off. Even if he'd said "We will spend £30 million" I'd still have told him to shove it
