Raj Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Why are people trying to pretend they know what's going on?This is all dull as ****. Just watch Euro 2008 and enjoy the break. I know whats going on. Watch SSN in the morning!!!!
CKB Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I'm starting to think thats the case. I swear if it happens then Mr Mandaric can well and truely fook off!
Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If it is Gregory, I think I may have to ask for a refund on my Season Ticket. You never know he might do well, I don't think he will though, and tbh i'm getting sick of the pathetic laughing stock Milan is making us. I don't care if Dennis Wise managed here, If he did a great job I really wouldn't care (On second thoughts...Maybe I would, Maybe that example is abit extreme) but at the end of the day and for me it was the same situation with Gary Megson, I can't help it if the manager is someone I just don't like and John Gregory is a bloke I just don't like, I think he's a cock. I support the team and club but if the man in charge is someone I don't like then i'm not sure I could be fully behind the team and club. I wouldn't want to ask for a refund, but i'd have to seriously consider. I agree with the thread on Talking Balls - The petition to get Milan out of this club. I'll admit I wanted Milan, I thought he was the answers to all our problems and I was obviously very wrong, Apart from money he has done F.A and tbh money is only a good thing if you spend it wisely it can work as a disadvantage if you just throw money at problems as shown in our disastrous season.
RedOnRed Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Sure he's mishandled some of the managerial appointments and might continue to do so, but don't you need Mandaric's money more then ever to get you out of this league? Leeds are a big club and are struggling to get back up. Mind you their large points defecits that the FA imposed haven't helped, so they might be a real force next season straight from the off.

Whats the point in money and buying players if nothing stays the same for 5 minutes? Martin Allen signed 14 players last season - Got Sacked. Gary Megson signed 3/4 players on loan I think - Left. Ian Holloway signed 11 players - Got Sacked. (Those are rough estimates of players signed but I have counted how many players certain managers signed and think the figures were something like that)

Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 As far as i remember Megson only sign 1 player Collin John. Yeah fair point just had a look at the full squad and think it was only Collins John, I was sure he loaned more than him though.

davieG Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Allardyce moves ahead of Ince in Blackburn race By Ian Herbert Friday, 13 June 2008 Paul Ince was still waiting last night to hear if Blackburn Rovers want to discuss the manager's post with him – a situation which seems to make Sam Allardyce the firm favourite – but he will not make a decision on Leicester City's approach until the position at Ewood Park is clear. Ince would clearly relish the opportunity to manage the club, with his former England team-mate Alan Shearer now out of the picture, and has not given up on the prospect of Rovers hiring him, even though Allardyce is being interviewed next week and appears to be ahead of him. Ince is not making an outright declaration of interest in the position – sources close to the player stressed last night that he is happy in his position as manager of Milton Keynes Dons – but he evidently relishes the prospect of talking with the chief executive of Rovers, John Williams. "Blackburn are a great club, with great traditions," Ince said yesterday. "They are a family club and Mark Hughes did a fantastic job there, so we will see. "Blackburn have to speak to my chairman first. If that happens, we will go from there. I can't make any decisions until I have received a call from my chairman saying Blackburn have asked to speak to me." As chief executive of the kind of close-knit club which Ince described, Williams will be only too aware that supporter opinion is set firmly against Allardyce – both because of his style of football and his career at neighbours Bolton. But Allardyce's excellent record at the Reebok Stadium seems to be proving a strong counterweight to Williams's mind.
DBEightyFive Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 but he will not make a decision on Leicester City's approach until the position at Ewood Park is clear. Fcuk Ince then!! He obviously doesn't really wanna speak to Milan.
teblin Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Milan said on radion leicester this morning that he hoped he would here either way by the end off the day, i'mguess he did that interview yesterday. He also said he had been talking to a couple of other "strong" managers. I'd guess they must both be out of work else we would have most prob heard about an approach. So my guess would be gregory and Newell maybe Richard Money?
teblin Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 TILSON Would be a very good choice. Something you've heard or just a preference?
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Would be a very good choice. Something you've heard or just a preference? I have been told that he did apply for the job. But no idea whether that would mean he's on the shortlist or even slightly true in equal measure.
KirbyFox Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 MK Dons Speak to Ian Holloway. Does not say where Ince as gone though
Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 MK Dons Speak to Ian Holloway. Does not say where Ince as gone though Where you heard that?
Phlashman Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 The fact that Milan hasn't got permission yet bodes well for us getting Ince I think. If he didn't want the job we would of got the no already. The things that's the hold up is Blackburn and you can't really blame Ince for holding on to see if he gets a shot. He has to say he's happy at Mk Dons incase he gets neither of the jobs.
mancunianfox Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 TILSON Not sure why but I hadn't even considered Tilson. Very good record at Southend winning several promotions and a manager who is probably ready to step up to the next level. Would be a viable option imo.
davieG Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Gannon has a comparable managerial record to Ince but of course he's relatively unknown as a footballer.
teblin Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 MK Dons Speak to Ian Holloway. Does not say where Ince as gone though where have you plucked that bit of info from?
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 where have you plucked that bit of info from? I'd hazard a guess from his behind.
James. Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 It's weird. I just don't really care who comes in. I almost don't want a good manager because I'll feel bad for them when Mandaric sacks them. Like when good players come here and we make them shit. I feel guilty. They deserve better.
