It's superb. The women are ridiculous but it's not as cheap as I thought it would be out there. Beer seems to be about £1.50/2.50 a pint but if you move on to other stuff then it's expensive. We had some shots to go with a few pints and the shots cost about £6 each. Two decent places to go are Old Man's Pub and Morrison's Pub. Both open until about 6 am.

May even nip on the families holiday too if it's free, probably Turkey again.

Taking about £200 currency wise so should be sound with that. 6 of us heading Zante, probably June/July. May even nip on the families holiday too if it's free, probably Turkey again. I went Kavos in Corfu with the lads last summer it was immense. If Zantes anything like that It should be off the heezy!

Monk Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 My usual ambitious travel plans have had the brakes applied as it took me 2 months to find a job and have spent most of my savings. However, I have 3 weeks in Colorado in late June for a family wedding. I will be going to Helsinki or Oslo with a mate in August as part of an ongoing bank holiday weekend tradition. If I can get the time I'd like to go back to Latin America for a few weeks in October time but I just don't know at this point.... New job involves some trips to Belgium so I may visit the surrounding areas on my weekends when out there.

Hopefully get a tour of the stadium and have some of our own Dutch courage and beat some of their talented youth teams. Originally we were going to go Ajax, play at their ground, and have a tour of the AmsterdamArena, but that didn't work out . Anyone been to Eindhoven?? If so, any tips/places to go??

Actually the travel agents tried to sell us a tour to the cove and that but we turned it down and decided to use that money on in-flight meal and extra luggage for the duty free's on the way back. Cannot wait - paying it all off was a relief. Spending money to go. Cobbo - Mexico, Cancun. Thats a proper holiday. Relaxing on the beach listening to the sea with a nice cold Corona in hand and a cheeky Hamburger in the other from the bar. Heaven.
