Jack Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 I always rated him, can see why he would go, he's better than league one.
Daggers Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 I always rated him, can see why he would go, he's better than league one. There's lots of things I want...but I don't get to do them. He signed a contract and therefore was obliged to us. I hate all this upping sticks that players do on a whim. If Ronaldo was mine I'd sit him in the stands - sod them for wanting to hop off elsewhere. I mean, what is so ****ing good about Ipswich? It's a shithole, impossible to get to and miles form anywhere where they don't have sex with animals as part of their weekend entertainment.
Tilley Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Well, Here begins the exodus, Sad to see him go, I think he's good. He should remember where he came from before City gave him a chance, he's not 'too good' for League One. Hopefully Hayles, Howard, N'Gotty can follow him out the door.
C-man Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 £1.5m is an absolutely fantastic deal for us. He's not bad but if he's seriously worth £1.5m then Ronaldo's £100m price tag is cheap as chips. I'm not bothered about the fact he's leaving but now the first has gone, the floodgates could be open.
Ric Flair Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 He was a good player for us and the fact we got him on a free transfer makes this an even better deal for us. We've made £1.5 million on a player who is only a few years off being over 30.
Flynny Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 For 1.5 million we should have lobbed in Bruno N'Gotty as well. 6 months interest free credit, free fitting, the lot. Everything must go.
Durnerz Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Couldn't turn that kind of money down. Sorry to see him go but there are better out there.
Sparky Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Well chuffed , overated and worse passer of a ball at the club (along with Kisnorbo)
MikeyT Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Well chuffed , overated and worse passer of a ball at the club (along with Kisnorbo) Even though both helped us to have the second best defence in The Championship last season, and yes I know, before you say or anyone else says it...yes...we got relegated with that defence, but the stats don't lie! I for one will be sorry to see him leave. But all the best to him. Hope he does well at Ipswich.
Master Fox Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Well, mighty impressive may i say. 1 down, another 42 to go. Get them while they're going. The shittest players around, come see, enjoy their crapness. Embrace the lack of ability. THEY ARE YOURS. They want you as much as you want them. How about buy 1 get a failing striker free? Maybe a half price over rated youth player might tickle your fancy? Just come in and see for youself. Hurry while stocks last, not every team will be lucky enough to own a piece of one of the worst teams in footballing history. It's Leicester City, and that's what we do. Share our faeces
