Murray in danger of making me look like a real idiot here. Sort it out - losing in a Davis Cup decider at home our your favourite surface to anyone whos name isn't Federer or Djokovic (especially Simon, who has posed zero challenge to Murray in the same conditions before) would be bloody embarrassing.

Murray never loses to Simon, guess after all the tennis he has played recently it has really caught up with him... still think he can do this, he has come back many times before...

Don't think i've seen him play worse than this. 

 

I have - Dimitrov at Wimbledon 2014 comes to mind, but nothing since then. 

 

However he seems to be recovering here, gets the break back in the second set.

loving how pumped murray looks every time he wins a point.

celebrated that third set yesterday more than he did when he won wimbledon pretty sure

Murray, to win Wimbledon, U.S. open, gold at the Olympics and Davis Cup would be remarkable... Sir Andy I'm sure... A true British sporting legend and anyone who is British can put him down should be ashamed, you just don't like success

Joking aside the guy is a credit to British sport. Anyone who watched him win the Olympic Gold would understand that, any ideas when the semi final is being played and the venue.

Murray should be beating all comers on an indoor hardcourt, so it'll be up to either Ward to take out Kyrgios/Kokkinakis/Tomic, or the dubs to step up. In front of a home crowd at least one of those two things should happen.

Tomic won't play pretty much said he will never play Davis Cup again. Krygios and Groth probably if Krygios isn't banned from the sport before then.

I thought they were trying to patch things up with Tomic...didn't work? Well, that makes it even easier for Murray and possibly for Ward too.

Murray finally gets one over on Djokovic, winning another Masters and going back up to World no.2 into the bargain. Needs to bring similar form into the US Open.

fantastic to watch, Murray is back on form. Won the same amount of masters titles as Pete Sampras now, not bad at all, 10th on the all time list...
