Tremendous stuff.

Novak must be seething, tomorrow is Women's QF day which is the cheapest of the whole two weeks in terms of shifting corporate packages.

Wonder if they have deliberately held him back to shift a few tomorrow with Konta on centre and him on One?

Nah, I wouldn't think so. There's more than enough time for his match and two women's quarterfinals on Centre.

Yep. Opens up Centre at 12.

Huge boost for ticket holders.

(...sorry Pabs, had to bring the  :fishing: out for that one.)

Querrey and likely Cilic defo not an easy route to the final for Murray though.

lol bless him, it's got to be in there somewhere he's beat roger frederer in a final ?

But in regards to Murray, just because he's out doesn't mean even muller could come along and do the job for him. That's 11 grass court wins and he's got nadal tsonga and zverev on his cv.

he really turned it on last set stuck £50 down on him once he started mixing the serve up. stunning grass court season for him now no matter what happens, actually looking forward to his match against Cillic the one at queens was a decent tussle..

Yeah. Would like to think it'll be a good one but something inside wonders how well he'll have recovered from today by the time it comes round.

Hes got the day off saving grace. If it was men's qf day he'd be ****ed.

Wasn't the most draining match either, lot of short points:

True enough. For a Nadal five setter, it was one of the easier ones.

I do hope he has enough left in the tank.

Think it's 50/50 between Murray and Cilic to make the final from the top half.

Murray can hopefully raise his level against Querrey and he should win in 4 sets max.

Cilic is playing great and is a danger on grass. Just needs to keep his head together.

Difficult to look past Federer for the title. His serve is imperious at the moment.

For someone whose serve generally holds up well under pressure, her play when she has break points herself has been utterly abysmal. Just dumping returns into the net or 3 feet long every single time. Will probably cost her a match in which she has generally been the better player.

Well done Jo! That was proper.

A representative of GB in the men and women's singles semi final of Wimbledon...when was the last time that happened? (As long as Murray does his bit tomorrow.)

I just know we're not going to see eye to eye on this one GF, but AFAIC she's a British Citizen having gone through the process, and the ITF agrees, so that's good enough for me.

So what's your thoughts on Mo Farah? Bradley Wiggins? Chris Froome has never lived a day of his life in this country. Sport is littered with renationslised or immigrant competitors, and not just for the UK. She's lived here most of her life now, she identifies as British, the governing body agree she's British. I don't see the issue. She's hardly a Bedene, switching nationality mid 20's.

I mean where do you draw the line? Farah has no British blood in him, but came here at a young age, so is that ok? Froome has British parents, but never lived her. If it's only people born in a country to people born in that country allowed to represent a nation then a hell of a lot of people are gonna be switching nations, or even struggling to find one to represent. Half the world football teams are gonna lose half their players, especially Ireland and Wales.
