isaidno Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 When I was younger it was Matt Le Tissier, scored some amazing goals for Southampton
Jonezy Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Michael Laudrup Brian Laudrup Diego Maradona Roberto Mancini Gary Lineker Thomas Hässler Ronaldinho Peter Schmeichel Eric Cantona On the top of my head.....
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Luis Figo was the complete player at his peak. Also admired the spirit of Angelo Di Livio during his Fiorentina days.
Simi Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Quite simply Paul Scholes. The man is a living God, certainly my favourite current player, also in my lifetime I guess. The amount of goals he scores from midfield is ridiculous and not really rivalled by that many players. Not just that, some of the crossfield passes he'll pick out are different class. Always arrives in the box at the right time, when he remains out of it he usually hammers in a deadly volley. The way he conducts himself out of football as well is an example that I wish quite a few of the others would follow. All in all, a world class player, just wish he could of done something with England.
David Guiza Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 When i was younger it was Dennis Bergkamp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l9DiKUzGas But now it has got to be the one and only Ricardo Kaka
sdb Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Izzet and Heskey for bias reasons Fabregas at the mo Of all time?? Tough call. Andy Cole and Fastino Asprilla I loved as a kid! Probably Henry. Hard call.
Tommy G Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Paul Scholes. Pure magic - Shove your Ronaldo up your arse. All in all, a world class player, just wish he could of done something with England. Oh yes he is the man. People under estimate how good his passing is, the kind of passes he picks out, and the timing is like no-one else can do. True professional off the pitch, you NEVER hear a whimper. Doesn't have an agent either, one of only a handful of premiership players. That flick for Rooney's first against AC Milan last year, beautiful. Completely owened the Man Utd midfield over the past decade, not many people can say they've done that.
Tommy G Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I dont know really.Jermain Defoe maybe. Is that because he is bare gantsta' innit? Or because he is an average overpaid diamond earring wearing mid twenties hyped up cockney 'striker'?
Samilktray Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Is that because he is bare gantsta' innit?Or because he is an average overpaid diamond earring wearing mid twenties hyped up cockney 'striker'? I think hes proved he can score a fair few goals in the premiership when hes played. There far more over hyped strikers than him.
Tommy G Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I think hes proved he can score a fair few goals in the premiership when hes played. There far more over hyped strikers than him. I saw him against USA for Eng and I thought he was poor. Just too in consistent for me. He's got a fook er of a shot on him and some pace but thats about it. Over hyped striker such as Bellamy, Corradi, Crespo, Alan Smith, Mutu etc
