Tommy G Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 People will eventually realise that he's not that good. £2-2.5 million would be a great deal for us. Exactly, knew he was going, heard it from Mr Chambers on saturday I think 2 mill would be a good enough deal, considering he isn't even proven yet.
Finn Claw Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 Seeing as the premiership is awash with cash i'd like as much as we can get! Anything above 2 to 2.5 million, with some add ons would be great. He is very very very far from the finished product.
billyfox1 Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Interview in the mockery. Doesn't really say he is staying though. http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/details.asp?k...472008298914231
FilboFox Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 The interview sounds positive though... I don't think he would want to move at such a young age... get some experience here first and then move on when he's a bit older...
lcfc81 Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 If he stays it will restore a little of my faith in footballers loyalty, I hope he does stay, Who knows if we got promoted twice like Milan thinks he could be here for a while! Might be wishful thinking though

Cat Burger Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 I'd move if I was him. He probably knows he's not ready for League 1 anyway so might as well get paid more and live in London. Why wouldn't you?
CaptainClemence Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Someone told me today that Mattock is going to Everton and has been offered £10,000 a week regardless of whether he plays or not. He has made is mind up and is going. This guy knows Joe Mattock. Whether it's bullshit who knows, but we shall wait and see Il certainly be re servicing this post if he does go to Everton. Back online for first time in ages to post this, hence the out of date sig etc.
Joe. Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008  Mattock on £10,000 a week?
Nath Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 :laugh:Mattock on £10,000 a week?    He is on £8,000 a week here.
lavrentis Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 I would have thought he would have been one of the least paid ones here!
Father Ted Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 I would have thought he would have been one of the least paid ones here! Exactly what my first thoughts were but after thinking about it, you get offered a pro contract at 17, which he would have recently got and with the likes of Chelsea keeping an eye on the situation I can see where that comes from...
Ultra Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 He is on £8,000 a week here. So what are the likes of Oakley and Howard on?
Joe. Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Why the hell would we be stupid enough to offer him that? lolc Dear me.
Corky Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Why the hell would we be stupid enough to offer him that? lolcDear me. Look who our chairman is.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 No way is he on 8 grand here. Not worth 8 grand a month..................................but I am
Ozwin Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 If we were desperate enough to keep him here then an £8K salary would be more than enough to do just that.
Halfsy Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 I know for a fact Joe Mattock is earning nowhere near £8,000 a week.
Bert Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 I know for a fact Joe Mattock is earning nowhere near £8,000 a week. How? Seen his new car have you?
Tevez Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Joe Mattock isn't worth the steam of my own piss. (Uncle Albert quote)
Halfsy Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 How?Seen his new car have you? . His car is actually an Audi TT, which he kerbed the other day!
Bert Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 .His car is actually an Audi TT, which he kerbed the other day! It's not a TT.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 The Star are today reporting that West Ham are close to signing Joe for £2.5 million.
