Exciting monthly benefits for season ticket holders

Recommended Posts

Good to see the club's in touch with what its season ticket holders really, really want.

Leicester City are giving current Season Ticket holders who are interested in attending the Birmingham City pre-season friendly fixture at the Walkers Stadium next Tuesday the chance to upgrade for free.

Fans who have already purchased a Season Ticket for the forthcoming campaign can now buy tickets for the friendly on July 29 in the Great Hall Hospitality Area at the same price as normal stand tickets.

So it's not free?

It's extremely tight of the club not to offer a free cup game this season on our season tickets.

I can only think, that on current form, the exciting monthly benefits must have something to do with having a greater chance of seeing back to back wins each and every month. :D

I want a free JPT trophy match at least (if we beat Hartlepool of course... oh, how I'm going to love the expression on Jeff Stelling's face when we hammer them!)

I'm sorry Father Ted but your lookalike is very poor :giggle:

:frusty:

Do you still not understand why the club can't do that?! :nono:

I'm sure it's you that it has been explained to before.

I wrote back again - this time I haven't received a reply.

Hope this'll do!

Dear Daggers,

I'd like to thank you for your 67th letter about our monthly benefits for season ticket holders but I can't cos in actual fact I wish you'd wipe the damn things from your mind.

It's annoying really. People were expected to forget "special offers" in the excitement of watching us go top of the League and, besides, it's so hard to come up with a free benefit that doesn't cost us anything.

I'm off on holiday for a think - a place called Pitcairn Island - and your letter, plus the 27 follow-ons enquiring whether I'd read your 67th letter, will be forwarded to our chairman Mr Milan Mandaric who will doubtless contact you from his yacht in Hinckley Marina.

The only ideas discussed so far are:

a) A walk around the perimeter of the Walkers Stadium pitch, perhaps on a Friday night. If well enough supported we might walk around twice.

b) A free bet with Ladbrokes on David Martin to score first and Leicester to win their next home match 12-3.

c) An opportunity to test your ingenuity by picking the lock of the training ground gates just before our next closed doors friendly reserve game scheduled for December 2012. Anyone who succeeds will be given a certificate of achievement from one of the inmates at Leicester Prison as part of a special community inclusion initiative sponsored by Newcastle United.

Your views on any of these would, of course, be most welcome if received before our next meeting to discuss this subject in May, 2009.

sincerely,

etc, etc.

Thank you for your email.

The season ticket benefits are still on course to be rolled out and I am sorry that we are a little behind with the arrangements. I have been assured that we shall be making up for lost time and we will be offering benefits as the club advertised at the outset.

Once again, I am sorry for the delay.

The benefits are that we have now paid and are expected to shut the hell up

I replied to ask whether or not it might be a good idea to actually communicate the benefits and the reasons for the delay to season ticket holders in order to prevent general grumblings and piss-takings.

It wouldn't hurt for other ST holders to inquire too seeing as we paid for benefits which haven't been produced...isn't that a breach of contract Leese? :dunno:

He doesn't present on Tuesday nights. It will be Ed Chamberlain or Ian Payne probably.

Are you suggesting that LCFC have oversold our ST thinking that we would just remember the meaty bit which is all anyone actually wants? Then we now ask what these "hidden" benefits are LCFC have no idea what line to take when we ask the question?

Sounds like an Iraqui invasion plan to me......
