Anish Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Love it. Just played it today for the first time and it's quicker than FIFA08, which is what I hoped. The through balls and the one touch passing are much improved, and the ability to do your own celebrations is the icing to the cake.

dandannieldanok Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 I went and bought this today, for PS2, controversial I know. Was reasonably impressed considering I'm a PES fan. When the game speed is on fast it is really slick but why they refuse to make the through balls work is baffling.

It is until u do an acrobatic one and dont land it and fall flat on your arse!! Im having a mare online. Lost my first two without scoring or coming close. Won my second two and then lost the next two including one 4-0 drubbing with THREE goalkeeper cock ups. I just cant find a team that suits me at the moment.... Man City and Arsenal didnt suit me at all. Liverpool were ok but can see Pompey getting a run out soon.

I've won about 3 more games than i've lost (any + win record is good for me) Got my first abusive message. I'm gonna get my throat cut apparantly! I still play best with Arsenal most often.

The ball seems to be treated as an object in it's on right, it's no longer glued to players feet. The range of player animations, stadia, tricks and all other stuff which I love (small things like different balls and boots) really make it. Started a Manager Career with Borussia Dortmund because: A) They're a foreign team which I follow / support. B) Their stadium manager is alwyas rated level 10 (Signal Iduna Park / Westfalenstadion). C) They've got some absloutely class kits. D) They've got alot of money in the bank. I started a MM with Dortmund and i love them Tinga keeps the midfield ticking over nicely for me. Park Ji Sung coming off the bench aswell class

Ashley Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 I carnt belive i'm about to say this as i'm a Pro Evoultion fan always have be, always will be. I'm impressed with FIFA 09 it's realistic, FIFA09 is the best FIFA made so far. This years pro will have alot to live up to.
