DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 I'm suprised at so many positive comments for this game so far because i've witnessed so many basic falls it's almost like they coded it and then just released it without any testing. The commentry's terrible and the booking after the incedent takes the micheal when 20-30 minutes has passed without a stoppage! Maybe i need to try it with a decent team, but playing with leicester is such hard work!
syston_fox Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Happy days - finally got round to having my first game in the league and beat Mickey 2-1. looks like Anish is the man to beat with 4 wins from 4
Mikey Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Happy days - finally got round to having my first game in the league and beat Mickey 2-1. looks like Anish is the man to beat with 4 wins from 4 It's Mikey. That was the 3rd match I lost in the league. Oh yeah and I drew with Anish just before I played you, 'cos he scored a wing tap-in thing in the 86th minute. <_< In ranked matches I've got 9 wins in a row.

You gave me a bit of a hammering tonight Mikey! 1-0 and you hit the bar twice.... I had a shocker! But then I beat Anish twice...could be an interesting league!

Yeah, it should be a good league, everyone seems to be able to beat everyone.

Anish Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Happy days - finally got round to having my first game in the league and beat Mickey 2-1. looks like Anish is the man to beat with 4 wins from 4 I wish you hadn't said that, I then went and drew one and lost 2 of my next 3 games. It's Mikey. That was the 3rd match I lost in the league. Oh yeah and I drew with Anish just before I played you, 'cos he scored a wing tap-in thing in the 86th minute. <_< In ranked matches I've got 9 wins in a row. To be fair, it was an even game and I deserved a draw. I was 1-0 down after 86 mins, I had to score any way I could not to lose!
Tilley Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 First game online I lost 4-0, I was Leicester, he was Chelsea. Second online game, I won 4-3, after being 3-1 down at half time. I was Arsenal though. everyone on PS3, add me - my PSN is MTilley
syston_fox Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 I wish you hadn't said that, I then went and drew one and lost 2 of my next 3 games. 2 wins from 2 for me!
Phube Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Unless you ONLY play a Leicester... you're a traitor!!!! !!
Tommeh Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Why do I find myself so tempted to buy this game after being let down by the pro evo demo.RRRRRRRRRRr thats exactly what was going through my mind yesterday, I gave in brought it and have to say its pretty decent, be a pro career is a great feature. I don't regret buying it at all and the worst I'll get is £22 trade in for pes in a few weeks, and if it cintinues to impress I may just keep both.

I bought it today aswell. Trade some old games in so it costed me nothing. Still getting pro evo. I believe I can now enjoy both.
Samilktray Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Just realised PES is out next week. So ill now spend money on that and trade games in for this.
lavrentis Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Good old EA forgetting to put the Black away kit in
lildave3 Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Good old EA forgetting to put the Black away kit in I doubt they knew it existed.
syston_fox Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 I doubt they knew it existed. Im suprised the kit man from saturday did!
FoxesFan100 Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Anish i cant believe you won because the game crashed even before we had kicked off : On another not, unlicky Leicester_mad, well fought last game, but you gotta give defoe credit, he's fast
Mark Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 On semi pro as Leicester I won both my first few matches by 4 goals, so I changed to Professional and I've lost 4 on the trot without scoring? Can't actually do anything, get knocked off the ball as easy as anything, any tips? Not played Fifa since WC02.
Anish Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Professional is quite hard. I'm playing a regular league with Inter and having lots of problems too. The computer is so good as dribbling and keeping possession, it's hard enough getting the ball back let alone scoring.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Can't actually do anything, get knocked off the ball as easy as anything, any tips? Not played Fifa since WC02. Have long-range shots, I've found it easier to score from outside the box on this Fifa than any other before.
morris1234 Posted 8 October 2008 Author Posted 8 October 2008 the step up from semi-pro to professional is big, i tried pro yesterday and found it ok, you get more free kicks hence its more tense when building up. i was man u against blackburn went 1-0 down after 5 mins, bugger! but dominated although they did counter attack and the computer keeps the ball so much more, i then equalised with a run from left mid to rightmid and scored a screamer with ronaldo then in the last minute, a trade mark free kick from around 30 yards right into he top corner ,good old cristiano! so i suppose when you play it on harder difficulty the better players are the difference. love this game!
Samilktray Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Disgusted with myself. About to have a sesh on this. Ill give my views later.
