Jaspa Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 There here on the 21st, how are people feeling about this?
Bryn Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 There here on the 21st, how are people fealing about this? I honestly wouldn't fret - there's a reason most people reckon they're a piece of piss. Unless you've got huge aspirations I'd just target 5 Cs.
Asha Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 There here on the 21st, how are people fealing about this? Yup. Annoyed tbh. I'm at the point where I don't care, providing I pass English as I'm not doing all that bullshite again. But my family are convinced it's going to be all A/A* like my 'over-the-top need for A*' sister. What I will get will be classed as a failure. I'm ok with it, but they aren't. My sister's counting down the hours till MY results come out, and really I'd just rather get it over with.
purpleronnie Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Hope everyone does well, I remember mine and not really caring, I was on holiday with the lads at the time. Did well enough to do A Levels which I hated. Left and got a job, by the time my friends had left school with their degees I had worked myself up in the company earning a good wage and my friends we're £1000's in debt. All I know is exam results haven't helped me one bit.
The Stig Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I tried my best with them. I put in 100%, so no matter what the results are, I couldn't have done better.
Samilktray Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I've gotta go to these to get something or other. How lame.
Stevosevic Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 There not important so i wouldn't worry about them. You have to do something stupid to do badly in them. Just get your 5 C's or above to get you into 6th form, college, apprenticeships etc...
Libertine Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 There here on the 21st, how are people fealing about this? Not great if you spell like that.
Ashley Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I'm nervous about this. Not looking foward to Thursday.
Asha Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I once got turned down by a girl because she thought I was a geek. Thus ending all interest in success in education.
Jaspa Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 Not great if you spell like that. What you on about?
FleckneyFox Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Yep as long as i get 5 C's i couldnt give a shit, But my coursework was pretty poor and i did no revision, so im sweating over it at the moment.
Jaspa Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 I'm nervous about this. Not looking foward to Thursday. Yh, im nervous because i think ive fudged it, i skipped a few courseworks
Asha Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Seriously. The only revision I ever did for this was an hour revising 'Meiosis' for Science Gateway....a fcuking hour! Question 1, was about Meiosis. Left it blank. <_< I just gave up after that.
Nod.E Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I'm not shitting it. I'm just hoping I don't leave with the feeling 'all that revision, for this?' Or... 'I could've done so much better.' I know I won't fail anything 100%. But my math's A grade is touch and go. After getting A*'s and A's in courseworks and modules over the past 2 years i'd be pretty p*ssed off if I came out with a B.

Lovejoy Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Good luck lads and lasses ! Tbh if you're clever enough to string sentences together on here, you should be able to pass a few GCSE's .
Tilley Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I was predicted D's, E's & F's. & this time last year I walked out of Groby Community College with 3 B's & 6 C's. I was chuffed. Good luck everyone.
Stinkenzo Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I havent really been worrying since I finished doing the exams and I still don't give a toss now tbh. That said, no doubt i'll be shitting myself on Thursday.
the_bowman Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I'm looking forward to it. Expecting at least 2 A*s, and any more would be a bonus. I really hope I get really good grades, it's what I've been looking forward to since I started caring about school.
The Stig Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I'm not shitting it.I'm just hoping I don't leave with the feeling 'all that revision, for this?' Or... 'I could've done so much better.' Same yet I have a horrible feeling its going to happen.
Libertine Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 What you on about? Evidence is still there in my quote. I'm not shitting it.I'm just hoping I don't leave with the feeling 'all that revision, for this?' Or... 'I could've done so much better.' I know I won't fail anything 100%. But my math's A grade is touch and go. After getting A*'s and A's in courseworks and modules over the past 2 years i'd be pretty p*ssed off if I came out with a B. Kinda sums me up there. Didn't revise at all and came out with just one C and a few Ds. Wouldn't recommend it but I don't regret it because I'm the ****ing dog's bollocks so I know I'll be alright. Try not to be too disappointed with a B here and there.
