Can anyone shed any light on why Adams is seemingly so far down the pecking order? HE doesn't even make the bench most games.

Doesn't need to change a winning side, Adams will get his chance in cup games and then when players in the first team loose form and sure he will play his part. Still early days yet.

From the 2 (1 1/2?) games i've seen of him i'm not keen, He's not had long to show what he can do so i'll still give him time but so far not so good.

Having said that, I'd rather see him play than persisting to play Dickov there. If we have to play Dickov play him upfront, as it is the two lads up front can't really be dropped because there don't deserve to be dropped, Dickov will have to wait patiently, or impress and he then be put upfront when the time is right instead of us trying to find a place for him to play!

if hes not trying as hard as he can in training then he shouldnt play should he?! thats the whole point in having competition for places, to give players a kick up the arse if their not pulling their weight and also rewarding those that have done well.

i suppose if he has a good week in training he might get a place on the bench then if he come son and does well, he might get a start next time.

its not rocket science! pearsons not stupid and this is why we are doing well at the mintue, hes got confidence high, he has showed the players that if they work hard then they get their rewards and has also stayed consistant in his actions and doesnt have other agenda's (e.g. media blab coff* holloway*)

nicky will get his chance, hes young, obviously talented and under pearson he can only improve.

I hope he does feature a bit more throughout the season, I thought he looked good against Tranmere when he came on.

He stuck me as a clever player, played some nice sharp passes inside and down the line and was always looking to make things happen. He's a stark contrast from Gradel in the sense that he doesn't really run at players and often drifts inside in search of the ball. He gives us a bit of variety in right midfield which we blatantly didn't have last year, and its good to see!

Dickov seems to be the exception to the rules at Leicester. The one player who constantly gets picked while not doing anything to really justify it apart from against Fulham (by accounts).

If you're a winger like Adams or Porter and an off-form striker keeps getting picked ahead of you in wide positions, then it's understandable for those players to wonder why.

Adams' chance will come no doubt, but I really do wonder if Porter needs to feel appreciated again and whether a change of scenery might do the trick. Hasn't it been mentioned that he has a fancy for London?

By the time he gets near Leicester's first team again - if he ever does - it will be close to a year since he turned out, as a first team regular, and had such an impact against Chelsea.

He'll be desperate to play and if his sparkling form (pre-season) didn't impress the new boss then perhaps the club really should think about letting him try somewhere else.

Playing an out of position and lost-looking Dickov on the wing is hardly a vote of confidence in the youngster or in Adams.

Adams is still young and will get games I'm sure. Pearson's said that it's a about the squad and not just the starting 11 this season. We've already played 7 games and we're only just into September so there will be opportunities for everyone to play their part at some stage. You have to remember that League One is a step-up a division for Adams too.

I've been fairly impressed with him so far. He makes intelligent runs and seems calm in front of goal but isn't a typical winger really. It's great that we've got players like him having to wait their turn imo!

His answer was. Yes but what can I do? All I can do is to work hard during training and when I am given the chance I have to take it.

On a personal note I believe NP brought Nicky to Leicester without knowing how good Max Gradelwas. Also Nicky gives him cover on both wings and central midfield.

To me this means he is a must for the bench. So why not at least put him on the bench? Ask NP.

Milan had to be involved someway or other, as we know all these Dickov rumours were going on for weeks but in the end Milan waved 6k a week and a 2 year contract in his face to get him here, so now he has to play to justify the wages. If only he could totally leave Pearson to it he was and is showing more than capable.

That is detrimental to PD & LCFC! Let the manager manage FFS.

Dickov can not enjoy being a winger surely? How about we play him in goal, at least he is on! Well him being on the wing is just about acceptable when we are winning & top of the table, but if things take a slide (which I doubt) then questions about Dickovs positioning will be asked.

I feel we should just bite the bullet & play him upfront & drop Fryatt. IMO Dickov will score the goals Fryatt does anyway, if Dickov HAS to play.

I think the real question is why did we sign Dickov if it is to the detrement to the young players & team? Dickov must have thought he was going to start or at least play up front! MM all over this one
