dandannieldanok Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 What would be funny is if Spurs don't sell him and leave him in the reserves That would be hilarious, Fergie and Berbatov would be furious, Man City will feel a little peeved, and Tottenham who are possibly relying on transfer money to cover the £20m+ they spent this morning facing financial meltdown. ...................bet he signs for Man Utd in min <_<
lildave3 Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Do we definitely know they haven't given him permission?

Samilktray Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Do we definitely know they haven't given him permission? Probably not, just people jumping the gun cus of who it is.
Corky Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Do we definitely know they haven't given him permission? I haven't heard any reports of Man U being given permission. Surely if they had it would have come out when City put their bid in.
dandannieldanok Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Do we definitely know they haven't given him permission? No, but Daniel Levy just has the devious look about him that he would not let Man Utd have him even if they offered the cash.
Corky Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 No, but Daniel Levy just has the devious look about him that he would not let Man Utd have him even if they offered the cash. I can't stand Daniel Levy, but I admire the way he's stood up to Man Utd for he believes is a fair price, rather than rolling over.

Mickey O'Neil Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Berbatov's a knob head with no knob. Fergie is a knob head, they deserve each other. Man City & Spurs don't deserve the sulking bastard, however, I hope it falls through and he rots in Spurs' reserves.
Guest Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 fook Off Berbatovfook Off Manchester United. I echo Tevez's sentiments on this This whole episode is boring the tits off me
act smiley Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I can't stand Daniel Levy, but I admire the way he's stood up to Man Utd for he believes is a fair price, rather than rolling over. He's no better than any of the others. As for that Man Utd site, if you alter the page number at the end you can get all kinds of oddness come up - Hassan El Fakiri? Marc Edworthy? Are these players that are going to sign for Manchester United too? Its probably just because him being listed in some match report on the site somewhere.

The Reverend Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Oh my God, Robinho has gone to Man City. What. The. Fck!
Ultra Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 United will be well pleased at this, as it weakens both the Real Madrid and Chelsea squads.
davieG Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 T'would be funny if Campbell does better at Spurs than Berbatov does at MU
MC Prussian Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Look at the two happy chaps - Ferguson could very well play a hobbit.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Look at the two happy chaps - Ferguson could very well play a hobbit. Think it might take him awhile to adapt to Man u's play. Not sure if the fans will take to the way he strolls around the pitch either but we will see. one things for sure he'll never justify his 30 million pound price tag.

Probably not, but does Corluka justify his £6m price tag or Robinho his £32.5m price tag or george McCartney's £4.5m price tag? They are all rip offs in comparison. One thing that's priceless for Utd is this. -----------------------------VDS --------------Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra --------------Ronaldo Hargreaves Scholes -------------------Rooney----------Tevez ---------------------------Berbatov When fit, still the best team in Europe, for this season anyway

And don't forget the very annyoing John O'Shea and Darren Fletcher (annoying as they tend to get the odd key late goal!)
Tommy G Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Where's Carrick? And don't forget the very annyoing John O'Shea and Darren Fletcher (annoying as they tend to get the odd key late goal!) I'm on about attacking force. Don't forget Anderson-son-son Nani Carrick Giggs All quality players
Father Ted Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Does anyone else think it is quite perverse that Man c have a bid accepted and a player does not speak with them, Also that Man U do not put in an acceptable bid & the player speaks to that club "illegally"?Man U are a disgrace! & Ferguson should keep to the standards which he expects from other clubs like Real Madrid! Who cares?! There is talk that Man U will be fined and lose points, etc. Berbatov will turn out to be a right lazy git and will never play! Berbatov thinks he Cantona but he is not!
Thracian Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 There are so many issues to this including who said what and to whom. Seems to me though that Spurs were clearly prepared to sell Berbatov. So if they'd quoted United a figure and United had essentailly agreed to pay that figure then Berbatov had every right to choose to play where he wishes, whether someone else makes a later and better bid or not.
