JakeShingler Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 http://www.cheltenhamtownfc.premiumtv.co.u...1410336,00.html Martin Allan must no how good he is.
davieG Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 http://www.cheltenhamtownfc.premiumtv.co.u...1410336,00.html Kish moves to the bench then
Koke Posted 2 October 2008 Author Posted 2 October 2008 And if King or Oakley get injured? Pearson probably feels Kish is enough cover. I'm not too sure about that.
Jimmy Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 strange leaves us with a lack of cover but obviously good for Weso to get some 1st team football
Mark Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Terrible decision, as good a backup we're going to get in this league. Forget Kishishev, he is no able replacement at his age. He best be coming back, how longs the loan?
davieG Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 3 months of football should do Weso the world of good, I bet it's 2/3 years now since he's had that sort of run in a team.
Fox You Forest Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Could also be a sign Clemence isn't far away.

Forget Kishishev, he is no able replacement at his age.He best be coming back, how longs the loan? 3 months but with a recall clause after 1 month. It's is strange when you consider we've postponed games because King and other weren't available but I do feel that we'll benefit from Weso playing a decent number of consecutive games.
Munzie Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 A three month loan but can be recalled after the first month. Sounds good to me. Give him some valueble first team action but recall if we get an injury. Does this mean that Clemence is also not very far away from fitness? On a separate note, I see Allen is posting his regular manager updates on the Cheltenham site. I miss that
Guest Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Not too sure that's a good idea. I can understand Weso wanting more games though. Is Clem coming back soon? Last I heard he wasn't setting any date for his return.
Mark Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Is Clem coming back soon? Last I heard he wasn't setting any date for his return. Nowhere near, I assume Adams is likely to fill in there should it be needed.
SamL Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Good chance for Weso to get some first team football. Good signing for Cheltenham in my opinion.
mb2251 Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Nice to see our O/S is on the ball with the updates again......
breadandcheese Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 As others have said, it leaves us a bit weak in the centre of midfield should we get injuries, although for the player, it is the right move to secure some consistant first-team football.
Vo Rogue Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Good for Weso, and good for Leicester in that strengthening a team well down the table may assist them to pinch points off teams up or mid table. And Clemence is a long way ott a return to training.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 I don't think this is a terrible idea. When I've seen him this season he's looked well short of match fitness and in desperate need of some games
Raj Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 I don't think this is a terrible idea. When I've seen him this season he's looked well short of match fitness and in desperate need of some games Agreed. he needs games. He cant just walk into our mighty top of the League team! One step back for the lad, then he can come back....if he's good enough!!!
lildave3 Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Surprising move, but like people have said, it'll be good for him to get some games.
Raj Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Surprising move, but like people have said, it'll be good for him to get some games. I agree. It would be good for him to get more games....
Munzie Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Surprising move, but like people have said, it'll be good for him to get some games. These short term loans may be the only way Pearson can get some of our first team understudies match fit. Seems as if he is loathed to tinker with the current line-up unless we have an injury. Personally, I would like to see some squad rotation as I feel that Weso (and others) can still do a job for us. In using no subs for the last two games, match fatigue could cause us problems. It's a long way to the end of the season. Also, if we continue to use the same formation, other teams will suss how to cope with us. Bringing through other members of our squad and maintaining a winning formula will boost confidence throughout and send a warning to the rest of the league that we can cope no matter what.
