Wesolowski to Cheltenham On loan

Needs games? Ha!

If he plays every match during the three months then I'll put money on him returning injured. I said it last season - Weso simply doesn't cut it. When push comes to shove he's nothing more than a boxer with a glass jaw.

He's still not convinced me he's good enough for us irrespective of the league we are in and this is his last chance to prove something; he needs a run of games where he performs really well because if he doesn't convince at Cheltenham then the only way is down.

As an aside, I find it interesting that we're helping Allen out.

Not happy. But happy that he'll hopefully be getting regular first team football.

First decision i've not agreed with wholeheartedly with Pearson.

Hmmm.

No point keeping him if he never gets a game though, eh?

Well I'm fairly surprised about this, I never thought we'd see Weso getting shipped off on loan somewhere a year ago. I think knowitall said something like this a while back? I can't really remember.

Anyway, I think Cheltenham have got a good signing there, he'll do a good job for them no doubt. I hope this move will be a positive thing, get some games under his belt and come back hungrier than ever to get his place back. If there's one player at this club who would do that it's him.

I predict Weso will take the same path as Malcolm Christie and be without a club by the age of 29.

I have a lot of time for the fella, but he's too injury prone for anyone's liking.

You need more than 2 central midfielders and Kishishev has played even less football than Wesolowski has should we need someone to come in. Plus, I actually prefer him to King, but that's my opinion.

No problems with this. He'll get some much needed games and (hopefully) confidence so that when he comes back he'll be a better player. A recall option as well if we get an injury. Think it's not a bad idea at all.

But if we get an injury before the start of November then we're down to Kishishev who has played once this season for us. Unless Adams gets the nod in the centre.

Same. Weso is better than King certainly.

In terms of what? A few years ago I'd have agreed, but since his injuries he's just a ball winner, nothing more. No defence splitting passes, no goals his ability to strike a ball is very poor. King edges it for me. I've come to terms with this loan in the hope he can rediscover himself.

can see the logic in the move...but if Oakley/King or even both get injured in the first month (when we cant recall him) were in the shite arent we?? Kish can piss off, should never have been signed, and god knows when Clem is back.

Good move for the lad, a team that's going to improve now they've got a manager that wants to stand his ground. Also think he's going to get a good set of games for them it can only be good. Clem must be back soon.

Well, I guess Pearson has an idea too...

...and probably has an informed opinion about who he would play in midfield should disaster strike.

:( So much negativity. Do you really think that Pearson would let a player out on loan knowing full well it would expose a potential risk to the first team should we get an injury?

Here's a player that has not made any noise in our first team this season, injury prone himself and still with a lot to learn.

Let's have some faith in our manager and current squad please. Pearson works with these guys on a daily basis and is far better positioned to call this.

its just concern, its not like we've been used to having the benefit of good luck over the past few years so that we'd be all confident is it
