Flynny Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Milan's been perfectly restrained since the start of the season and if he gets Fryatt to sign, he and the rest of the staff deserve credit. Milan's made his errors but he's been good this season, and we'll be worse off if he leaves (probably?).
FilboFox Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Great news! Really hope he does as I really think that we'll fall to pieces up front without him... there is nobody else in the team with the confidence that Matty has at the moment and without him, promotion would become a real struggle.
Kilworthfox Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 On Talksport they said that Preston & Crystal Palace are the clubs chasing him, we are to offer him a deal today however!
Ric Flair Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 On Talksport they said that Preston & Crystal Palace are the clubs chasing him, we are to offer him a deal today however! Palace have fook all money to spend, they have to get rid of Kuqi just to keep things ticking over. They'll have to sell Moses, Watson or Scannell to fund the Fryatt deal. Preston are a different beast though, doing well this season with a shrewd manager. Still don't know why he'd go there though, they won't pay him as much as we will.
Alfie Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 I Seriously hope that we can keep hold of Matty. He has been one the main factors to our success so far. His confidence and burning desire to prove himself has been one of the main factors that has kept the whole team Alight. We need to keep the core of this team together, as i feel they have potential to go all the way. Hello to you all. I have been reading this forum for a little while now, thought now was a good time to dive into the wonderful world of foxestalk.

Moses and Gradel are very similar players.
Alfie Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Cheers for the welcome guys. Glad to hear Milan coming out and saying Fryatt will stay. I just hope that he hasnt just put to much preassure on Fryatt by speaking in the public eye. Some players/Players Agents dont like big wigs such as Milan using the Media to pressure them into signing a new contract.

Milan holds all the cards as he is the money man, Agent know where their bread is buttered so they will play ball if he comes up with the right figures.

Legend_in_blue Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 On Talksport they said that Preston & Crystal Palace are the clubs chasing him, we are to offer him a deal today however! Why would he choose to go to two non-descript championship clubs? There's no point to that. He may as well stay here.
Candidcamera Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Fryatt will get us promoted - a no brainer really.
lavrentis Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 According to the Leeds forum he wants to leave. Didn't knowitall says he liked the area ? We should buy him, wants to leave leicester, we need stikers who can score like him as we only have beckford, becchio is not scoring of late and showunmi, well what can i say about him.
Babylon Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 According to the Leeds forum he wants to leave. Didn't knowitall says he liked the area ? He may want to leave... but he wouldn't go there in a million years.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Why would he choose to go to two non-descript championship clubs? There's no point to that. He may as well stay here. They aren't "non-descript" clubs at all. Both are in a better situation than we are and both are challenging in and around the play-offs in the league above. I don't want Fryatt to go at all but if he's tempted by those clubs then so be it, I'd rather he leave if he's not 100% committed.
kieranLCFC94 Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 i think if we get promoted this season and stay for 1 season in championship and doing well i think he would stay but if not i think he'll just have enough then leave.
Messi Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Apparently West Brom are meant to be lining up a £4m Bid
Matt Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 i think if we get promoted this season and stay for 1 season in championship and doing well i think he would stay but if not i think he'll just have enough then leave. But we're on about now. He will have signed a contract with us or left us by then. He is out of contract this summer, and it needs sorting before January transfer window if there is any hope of us keeping him.
