Anyone going to Angine de Poitrine in London? I missed my chance when they moved to the bigger venue as was on waitlist but missed the email! Looking for resale again now

How is it I'd never heard of them and now this is the 2nd post here about them today? lol

Weighing up £75 for the Offspring, Dropkick Murphys and Pennywise in London in June.

I would love to have gone to that but already committed to Metallica in Cardiff on the same weekend.

Went to see the Cribs the other night. I know I am getting old when I left thinking ****ing hell that was loud, maybe even too loud.

They still have a sort of punk spirit about them, some serious noise from just three instruments.

Haha, saw them last night in Brum and thought the exact same. Couldn't sleep for ages as my ears were ringing. Great night though! Enjoyed the stuff off the new album as well.

Also saw Gorillaz in Manchester Saturday who were superb. Incredible visuals and so many different artists and styles. He brought out Mos Def, Bootie Brown, your man from De La Soul amongst others.

Haha I know, we were discussing how much he's getting paid for that. He came on for Damascus off the new album, then did Stylo which was class.

is it fair to say they're a bit underrated? I know they're huge but they've got some genuine classic albums but never seem to be spoken about in the same way as other great bands. Perhaps because of the whole animation/mystery of them?

They're bigger than Blur (and I'm a massive Blur fan)

They have blown up and got famous very quickly, I only heard of them about 2 months ago and they have become massive in the last 4-6 weeks following their KEXP video.

I've been listening to their stuff since I posted that.

Certainly as a guitar player myself, I can really appreciate whatever it is that they are doing.

Anyone ever used gigsandtours to purchase tickets before? Are they a reliable site?

Yeh it’s just another part of LiveNation/Ticketmaster I think, have used them regularly anyway.

Bruce Foxton at the Trinity Bristol last Friday. Only on for just over an hour. Poor bloke looks all of his 70 years. Still a trip down memory lane with all the Jam classics.
