Had we left clemence till the start of the following season he might not have missed the last 20 MONTHS.

Quite a number have returned prematurely to have a recurrence within a few weeks after treatment, Kisnorbo, Wesolowski and Clemence to name a few. And then on this forum to slag those players off.

Birch said on the moan in that he was due another injection in his knee within the next few days but didn't say any timescale on when he would be back in training. I would guess it's still some time before he'll be back and after the set back I can't see us rushing him back.

Apparently Tunchev tried to start light training again the otherday, But he broke down with his Knee ! and he is DEFO out for the rest of this season and there is also some doubt whether he'll EVER play again! Its not looking good apparently...... Im hoping this news is not true, Great defender and we need him fit a ready for our push this season! Sorry for it being bad news but thought id let you lot know what i heard! Ash

He's our best defender by a country mile and we NEED him back so give him the rest of the season off to recover fully and then see how it goes. From this though, it doesn't sound good.

Ash Doubt it, Pearson has stressed how he isnt gonna rush tunchev back and know`s what a difference he could make to the second half of our season. He did state on the official website a while back how him and clemence wouldnt be rushed back until there are totally right.
