Budweiser Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Tunchy! Cheers, KIA The official site really is a joke.
CosbehFox Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 City's record with players suffering knee injuries is shocking. Eadie, Jones, Wesolowski....
martyn Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Thank KIA once again.Typical ah? Tunchev potentially one the best players we have had in a long time and he seems abit injury prone, or got a dodgy knee? I wonder if this is perhaps why we managed to pick up such a good player - As in other clubs looked at him saw this problem and it put them off him? I'm not slagging him off, he's quality, but just worried he might be abit crocked and this will be a reoccurring injury, although as far as I know previous to coming to us he didn't keep having these problems? This is the first serious injury of his career by his own admission. Torn knee ligaments can happen to anyone, it's a different kettle of fish to somebody who contnually gets muscle strains which would be the sign of physiological problems of injury "proneness". The fact that it was simply an infection is good news and means he should be back soon. Lets just hope he doesn't do a Ferrie Bodde on us.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 City's record with players suffering knee injuries is shocking.Eadie, Jones, Wesolowski.... 4 in about 10 years isn't a huge number
Candidcamera Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Good thread, thanks for this information. Tunchev may be depressed by Bulgaria failing to get to the World Cup finals too.
MikeyT Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Thanks for the info once again Knowitall. Much appreciated.
lou Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Thanks KIA Ive learned more stuff that has gone on at the club since Ive been on here from the likes of KIA and Bert than Ive ever learned from the OS
Thracian Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Cheers Knowitall. Better news reporting than the pile of shite that is the OS. Couldn't agree more. The site is a disappointment in almost every way. It conveys an air of utter indifference.
CosbehFox Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Couldn't agree more. The site is a disappointment in almost every way. It conveys an air of utter indifference. Yet it's more one of the most thorough and up to date sites, Premium TV run......
Jon the Hat Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 It's a Knowitall love-in. It shall be known henceforth as a KIALI. Bad news for the Tunch. Bound to get anyone down for a few days - he will be back a raring to go in no time.
5waller5 Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 City's record with players suffering knee injuries is shocking.Eadie, Jones, Wesolowski.... Yeah 3 players in a decade .... in a game based on changing direction quickly, where the players play 40 odd games a season and train most days ..... Shocking!
5waller5 Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 4 in about 10 years isn't a huge number Note to self ..... read the next post before replying!!!!
knowitall Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Tunchev did not do any training today I knew he was dreaming that he would make that quick a return. Tomorrow he goes to London to see the Doctor. It just for a check up. Tunchev says he thinks everything is going fine. He says he now expects to start traning next Monday. Just to cover one post in this tread. This is Tunchev first ever serious injury and as a major injury sometimes things are not 100% first time. He is not injury prone. I believe he will be back soon for Leicester.

fox24 Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 i heard this from a very reliable source who is in very close contact with tunchev himself and this person himself sometimes takes tunchev to the clinic in london for his appointments and he speaks to tunchev nearly everyday to make sure things are ok
knowitall Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Bad news his knee has swollen up again. No one knows the reason why! Will not know until Monday what this means. Tunchev is very upset and thinks it could be a big step back.
