Babylon Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Damn. We're gonna be weak at the back then... and with such important games coming up against Cov and Derby too... Well we managed relatively ok before his come back... in fact we lost the two games he started.
Bert Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Well we managed relatively ok before his come back... in fact we lost the two games he started. With the away team scoring first on both occasions, exactly the same score, against the same team.
Babylon Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 With the away team scoring first on both occasions, exactly the same score, against the same team. Any bets he starts at their place in the league!!! I'm having £50 on 2-1 to them
Manderic's pants Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Not to question this, but both the BBC and OS are saying we have no fresh injury worries...
Guest Bilo Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Hmm, not great news with Brown well and truly off the boil. I'm even less optimistic for the week ahead now.
Ozwin Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Not to question this, but both the BBC and OS are saying we have no fresh injury worries... Yeah, might be a load of rubbish.
Bert Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 You're right it could be false. I just stumbled upon it and thought i'd post it. Thinking about it, there would have been some kind of statement if he was injured I think. We'll just have to wait and see.
OzFox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Or it could be a recurrence of the same injury. Didn't he have swelling in the knee after the cup game against preston?
MPH Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 could it be possibe that there is another Tunchev in their team EDIT: who is also 28 and playes for Leicester City.
Milky Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 They could've just decided he'd be best served staying in Leicester until he's fully fit.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Quite honestly, Tunchev has struggled so far, Shadow of the player we saw last season, as is the case with a number of other players.
Mikey Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Quite honestly, Tunchev has struggled so far, Shadow of the player we saw last season, as is the case with a number of other players. He was awesome against Peterborugh in the 2nd half. And the only other 2 games he's played have been against Preston, where he's been marking Chris Brown, who is probably one of the hardest strikers in the league to mark cos' of his size.
chrisfox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Quite honestly, Tunchev has struggled so far, Shadow of the player we saw last season, as is the case with a number of other players. Remember we're in a higher, much tougher, league this season. Not sure I would be expecting the same kind of dominance from any of our players as we saw last season. Tunchev is coming back from an injury that, 10 years ago, would have ended his career, so I reckon we can let him of the odd bad performance whilst he finds his form again.
marbelladave Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Interesting. No news coming out of the Walkers at all. Just the usual PR bollox from 2 or 3 of our players. Talk about keeping your card close to your chest! SSN suggests possible unchanged side from saturday.............God I hope not! BBC suggests no new injury worries..........Does that make Tunchev an old injury worry? Other sources report Tunchev's knee has reacted badly to the 90 minutes at the weekend, Wellens is still not 100% and N'Guessan amd McGivern are both carrying knocks. In the absence of any real news, rumours rapidly assume the status of facts and shear guesswork becomes the order of the day.....
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Right play Morrison end of. Hope the injury isnt too bad.
Budweiser Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Quite honestly, Tunchev has struggled so far, Shadow of the player we saw last season, as is the case with a number of other players. Oh yeh because he's played LOADS of games and is FULLY fit aye?
jimmer Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Right play Morrison end of.Hope the injury isnt too bad. When was the last time he played? We all know if tunch is out then it'll be hobbs and brown at CB

Wellens wasn't in last night's squad and Radio Leicester now tell us Tunch needs more surgery..
Jordan Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Uh-oh. Looks like Dave Rennie and Stephen Clemence have a new friend...
carterfox90 Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 bloody bad news why is it always our very best players get the serious injuries all the time was he rushed back to quick for his own good
Thracian Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Those sources were right.Wellens wasn't in last night's squad and Radio Leicester now tell us Tunch needs more surgery.. How they must regret trying to hurry him back before getting him properly match fit. Christmas had been mentioned to me and, in retrospect, it would seem with good reason. You have to wonder now if he will ever perform at his best again. Let's hope so.
Jimmy Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Pearson has said he needs another opporation, its not a recurrence but the knee needs "tidying up"
marbelladave Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Those sources were right.Wellens wasn't in last night's squad and Radio Leicester now tell us Tunch needs more surgery.. KIA Mark II. :P
martyn Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 I presume that the "tidying up" refers to to removing any scar tissue which may still be causing problems, shouldn't be going anywhere near the new ligament so he should be fine after rehabbing again.
