Thracian Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Meant to mention this earlier but TPH's brother Gaza came up with a promising proposal in the Swan Saturday night - turning the Southend date into a beach "promotion" party after the game on Saturday April 18, always assuming we do go up! The idea is to assess the volume of support for taking down back-of-the-car barbeques, supplying all our own food, drink and having a good old shindig with the help of some music. It needs an organiser of course but perhaps the first thing is to assess reaction. I'd imagine a pot of, say, £5-8 each would be enough to supply ample food and drink. Being in the trade, I'm sure my young 'un could help find both once quantities were known. Thoughts anyone and who would go? 1) Thracian 2) Thracian Jnr
