James. Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 All I can think about is a how a university student thinks there should be an apostrophe between "m" and "s".
Guest Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Ludicrous. I thought this'd be Micky Adams. Me too when I saw the thread title

Monk Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Is this a thread about Adam's Sack or Adams being sacked? I'm confused.
Guest Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 I think the spelling & grammar police have been top notch in this thread Well done

GLC Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 He had massive boots to fill when Redknapp left, he didn't have long to do it in

The People's Hero Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 That apostrophe is ridiculous. You should feel ashamed.

somebum Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 On a more serios note, Tony Adams has paid the price for not being ruthless enough with his lazy back pair of Distin and Campbell. I dont think I have ever witnessed a poorer defence than those two this season, not even under Bassett at City. If anybody deserved their P45, it was the two lazy blacks at the 'heart' of the Portsmouth defence. Disgusting.
Corky Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Should never have been given the job in the first place.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Surprised they sacked him personally, more for the reason that Gaydamak is supposedly penniless rather than the poor results. Hope he gets back into management soon and becomes successful, seems to be a very likable and passionate footballing man.
Matt Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Oh dear Milan has decided to make comment on Avram and Portsmouth. I know Milan and Avram are mates, and Milan used to be chairman at Portsmouth but please Milan just keep your mouth shut, It has nothing to do with you, just focus on where you are now! Something always happens when Milan comments to the media - Whether what he is talking about effects us or not.
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Avram Grant is a legend, he must be laughing so hard right now.
Matt Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Avram Grant is a legend, he must be laughing so hard right now. I just hope he doesn't accept Chelsea if they come crawling back.
lookwhaticando Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Shame, they were doing so well. And by 'doing well' I mean they were hitting the accelerator hard in a car that was driving towards a cliff. Love it.
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 I just hope he doesn't accept Chelsea if they come crawling back. I hope he sees sense and tells them where to go. The way they treated him. Turns out he wasn't so bad after all.
Koke Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Meh. Its about time they go back down to the fizzy pop league where they belong. They are a tin pot side playing in a complete shit hole of a stadium with no undersoil heating. They've been punching well above their weight for some time now. You've had your glory, now piss off back to the dark ages where you were in the shadows of Southampton.

Or did you mean "backs" ???
