JakeShingler Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Anyone else think it is shit? I mean yesterday i got Chips a lucozade and a lion bar and it was lovely(cost me a 5ver but ohwell.) I just think the walkers is shite.

MC Prussian Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Concourse food=overpriced and unhealthy. Still, pukka pies should serve as a smashing souvenir for all Leeds supporters who'd like a handful straight in. Can't think of a better use.
Shrenchel Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The food aint great but to be honest the lager doesn't taste quite as piss like as it does in a lot of grounds. The concept of anything being shit in comparision to buying chips, a lion bar and a lucozade for 5 quid is also a bit odd.
Scow Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 It's alright I suppose. Don't really notice the taste of it in my drunken state.
demon_dog Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 You could always join the flask brigade. Just don't turn up with any cheese and onion cobs though, I'd soon be pinching them off you. Cos they're my favourite. :w00t:

SamL Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Personally, I don't have a problem with it. I think the prices are fairly reasonable and are comparable to most grounds. I actually love the cheese and onion pasties.

JakeShingler Posted 15 March 2009 Author Posted 15 March 2009 U woz robbed, who served u, Dick Turpin? £2 chips £2 lucozade £1 Lion bar
AmericanScott Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The food is terrible. DJ catering are the worst people i've ever worked for. They kept me 2 hours extra after the Blackpool game last season. Why? Cuz i was last on the stand and they had to count my till. If you work there you get all the free food and beer you like

AmericanScott Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 But no mach. The season before last season, we used to finish early all the time and walk pitch side for the last 10 minutes of the game. I got to meet Geoff Horsfield.
lavrentis Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The hot dogs are horrible - yet I have one every time I go.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 I never buy things from football grounds, its freaking ridiculous the prices they charge. Were the beers from millwall expensive yesterday? And can i just confirm that all those bottles of carlsberg were indeed supplied by the concourse at millwall, and not the crate after crate you all shipped in... cos if it was, to sell beer in glass bottles shocked me

DB11 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The new wooden forks are horrible. And the box they put the pies in is just all confusing now.
Fox92 Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 It's ok but very expensive. There is not a range of variety though. I mean, some of the away games this year have been great for the food. Oldham; bacon butty ___ Steak and Kidney pie for me though
Flynny Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Best game for food was Wolves away. Cumberland sausage hot dog for a quid just outside the ground. Gutted they'll go up.
Blue Foxes Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The only think i have ever really bought at a football ground is a hot chocolate. Great on a cold day
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 does anyone else feel that £1.70 (or has it gone up) is a hell of a lot for a bottle of pop!!!!!! if it was a quid i think that more people would actually buy them

Filbert_Ross Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 i think the pukka pies are the best thing and are the cheapest (£2.50)
Simi Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 The beer bottles were class. I wish they were about more places. See concourse at Stoke for reasoning.
