Lillehamring Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 dons dropping points is the best thing, and obviously not loosing
Koke Posted 21 March 2009 Author Posted 21 March 2009 Millwall are now our main threat. Franchise seems to have faded a bit. Their fixture congestions is ****ing them up. They have another game in mid-week and another on Saturday, and another mid-week.
Tilley Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 That was fucking shit. The first half was an absolute shambles. That is all.

Lillehamring Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 it's not updated yet, but here is the statto predictor
The Reverend Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 This is gonna go right down to the wire when Peterborough beat us at their place. Totally, totally ineffective without Howard.
Tilley Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Totally, totally ineffective without Howard. Yes. All this "BARRY, BARRY" & "Team of Barry Hayles" stuff is a laugh, but he is shit, so so shit.
Samilktray Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Yes.All this "BARRY, BARRY" & "Team of Barry Hayles" stuff is a laugh, but he is shit, so so shit. Twice the player of that Lump Howard mate. Sorry to have to say it.
Poakey Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Twice the player of that Lump Howard mate.Sorry to have to say it. Hope thats a joke!! If not then i'll take you havent been to many games this season.
Samilktray Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Hope thats a joke!!If not then i'll take you havent been to many games this season. It was tongue in cheek. Tilley knows of my love for Barry.
Joe. Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Think we got lucky with that really with that performance. Credit to Lambert and his team today; they rarely let us play it our way and we ended up going long far too much. Yeates looks a quality player at this level, hopefully somebody we could look at for next season wherever we may be. I thought Pearson's substitution to bring Dickov on for Gradel ("Bentiez-esque" as I described it at the time) was a bit bizarre but it paid off. Another point, but it wasn't pretty.
Poakey Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 It was tongue in cheek.Tilley knows of my love for Barry. Phew
Matt Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Disappointed, but the referee spoilt the game really, Different referee would = A Different game (In favour of us? I don't know). I thought up until their goal, We played quite well, especially considering the referee was giving us absoloutly nothing, and if their freekick which led to their goal was a freekick, how come ours, a minute or so earlier wasn't a freekick? But its another point towards promotion, We didn't lose, MK Dons dropped points, Looks like we could do with a win next week though.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 We were dreadful - I have just got back from what was a waste of an afternoon. Getting over the finish line and promotion is getting as painful as trying to get over the finish line to achieve safety. This is a case of deja vu. I cannot see where we're going to get a win from next at home - Carlisle possibly, but Leeds and S****horpe? For me we still haven't cracked this home form - in fact, it gets worse as the season draws, no sorry, crawls to its end.
Ultra Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 That was woeful - the worst home performance since the last time Colchester were here. If Pearson really has made us that dependent on Howard, then questions have to be asked as to whether he is good enough for the Championship. The pressure will really be on if we lose next week.

It's horrible knowing that although we probably will get promoted, there are still 7 games to go and it's still not certain. The relief when I see a little 'p' next to our name will be sweet.
Webbo Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Tbh I quite enjoyed the second half. Fair play to Colchester they came here and gave it a go. The ref never did us any favours and Big Baz was crap.
Bert Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Firstly we were shit. Mainly because Oakley was utter turd.
MC Prussian Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Phew. A point is a point, but just blaming it on the referee can't be it. Today's game was just MK Dons away Revisited. Played crap, lagging behind for a large part of the 90 minutes, then towards the end somehow managing to pull even... What's wrong? Can't just be Howard missing and Cleverley limping off injured? This is going to be a painful end to the season - unless Pearson manages to come up with a magic trick against in-form team Peterborough. Not looking forward to next weekend, in a way.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 An unexpected three points last week doesn't blow us entirely off schedule imo. Not saying that today sounded good at all though.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 FAO the guy a few rows behind me who tried to get everyone booing at the end of the game: You are a disabled.
syston_fox Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Very tough game and you have to give credit to Colchester in many respects who came here and played very well. Not once did they look to sit back and play for the point. Must admit that I'm getting nervous now that that lead at the top is being cut down. I think whoever wins next week will go up as champions.

Exactly you win some you lose some, It is worrying that perhaps our home form hoodoo hasn't be resolved and looking at next season - hopefully in the Championship could prove a valid point to worry about, but you win your home game, draw your away, lets reverse last weeks result for this weeks and no-body would be moaning. Lets look at positives. That's not to say today wasn't poor, or makes it right.
