It was getting a bit pathetic to be honest. I do feel sorry for her kids and family though - just hope they can cope and live a normal a life as possible.

Yeah I feel for them losing their mum, I've had my own parents go through cancer. But they are going to be left with more money that anyone on here can dream of to see them right, and with lots of family around them... the people my sympathy goes out more to are those who lose parents and are left with nothing. It's a complete joke that our prime minister and the leader of the opposition feel the need to comment on it. Could you really see O'bama taking time out of his day to pass his condolences to some z list non entity who was unfortunate enough to get cancer? I mean, did Brown pass comment on Wendy Richards? Or Natasha Richardson? Not to my knowledge.... yet he feels the need to to do so about an ignorant racist who had about three brain cells to rub together. Just because the council estate numpties see her as some kind of Princess Diana figure thanks to the plagues that are Hello, OK, Heat magazine and the like. Am I glad she is dead? No... Do I care she is dead? No, why should I as I didn't even know her.

Katy Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Righty, I've said this before and I'll say it again. Jade Goody wasn't a bad person, she was ill educated and had a shit upbringing. She managed to drag herself out of the gutter and earn shit loads of money for her kids who she clearly loved more than anything. She made a few errors along the way, but made amends unlike the other two who were involved (who in my opinion were far worse than Jade) and if one thing comes out of all the publicity of this, it's the awareness of how important cervical smears etc are. It's certainly made me take it more seriously. I am petrified of smear tests and have never had a proper one but the thought of dying young because of my own silliness and leaving my daughter without a mum has really jolted me into action. So all you Jade haters just think on a bit, even if she saves just one life by advertising her plight and gives her kids the life she never had surely it's a good thing yes?
