I am Rod Hull Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Not that i want it to happen, just reckon Pearson will go back for him again. I think its crossed everyone`s mind, he`s a natural finisher but it`s a no no with what we have at the moment... Pace lacking...
StanSP Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Sorry for bringing this up on my Twitter, which I believe prompted Narborough Fox to actually resurrect it!
Jaspa Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Didn't Fry-It come out on Twitter ? To say he nd Blobbs wouldnt be returning Sure it was when the Nige speculations were peaking
Liamlcfc1 Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Looking back at this made me laugh some of the players we thought where good caleb folan
MPH Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 [ Dream on. The top scorer in England is staying put I was here for a wind up but after reading some of your fans posts on this forum It seems you lot are on a wind up aswell. None of you honestly believe that Beckford would join you do you? Not a dig at your club but please come on be realistic. I am going to email him on here and ask him if he has anything further to add.
Libertine Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 I think its crossed everyone`s mind, he`s a natural finisher but it`s a no no with what we have at the moment... Pace lacking... If we need a striker, we need a different option. We don't need anyone like Fryatt when we have Nugent, Beckford and Schlupp. Nige has a lot more funds now so I don't see any possibility of him coming here. Pretty sure that Twitter account isn't real though. The supposed tweet from it I read isn't something that any player would say either.
Kilworthfox Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Me > Kilworth According to his missus anyway. Just seen this, only been up for 2 years haha

waccoe1975 Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Things change in football as we all know. So I was wrong about jermaine ever playing for you but I wasnt wrong about him leaving Leeds for Leicester. He was always going to go to a premier league club if he left us and although he did pretty well at everton he dropped back a league for whatever reason. The best thing the club did was running his contract down rather than cashing in and it was in the script for him to score the goal that sent us up. I'd have him back in an instant but if not I hope it works out for him. Best of luck for the rest of the season

waccoe1975 Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Similar to the beckford situation were we rate him and you dont. Getting rid of kasper was a good move by Grayson. So poor with crosses and commanding the defence. But a brilliant shot stopper. Lonergen looks far more comfortable

So poor with crosses and commanding the defence. But a brilliant shot stopper. Lonergen looks far more comfortable Had no problems with Schemichel so far, he's won us a lot of points this season. His only mistake has been getting sent off at Forest but that was a harsh decision. I think he'll go on to be a top class keeper in the next few years. You're having goalkeeper issues I thought?

waccoe1975 Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Lonergan has been brilliant for us but got injured. In came rachubka and was at fault for nearly every goal we conceded. He won't play for the club ever again said Grayson after the Blackpool game. We've got a lad on loan from reading whose done really well

Schmeichel for a million quid is an astute piece of business for us, he'll be worth 5 times that much if he continues in the form he's in. His kicking is worth about 6 goals a season as well, it's ridiculous.

So poor with crosses and commanding the defence. But a brilliant shot stopper. Lonergen looks far more comfortable Poor with crosses? No evidence of that with us (one mistake at Burnley comes to mind, that's it). Poor with commanding the defence? Seriously?! He goes crazy at them, always ordering and 'commanding them'. That's good in my opinion. I'd rather have a vocal, loud and responsible keeper than a quiet one who just sits back.
Narborough_fox Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Anyone get the feeling Kasper wanted out at Leeds. I can only think of one mistake so far (away at Burnley). Think he's a Man United fan so it can't of been nice him being there especially with the treatment his dad got.

Christoph Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Schmeical has been class since he's arrived and easily can become a legend if he stays here for a prolonged period of time. I can see him leaving for a bigger club after a season or two more though, he has the ability to be in a top 8 prem team, easy. Doesn't make much mistakes and doesnt let easy goals go in. He also makes everything look so easy, esp long shots...which weale cannot
Bryn Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Kasper Schmeichel is the absolute nuts, he's been superb, and to flog a keeper of his known ability and evident potential for a million quid to sign Lonergan and then have the ballache of finding cover for him is nothing short of a huge and unnecessary cock-up.
Corky Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 And now Maik Taylor? UpTheLeagueFox Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Kasper's done really well but, in all honesty, anything after those utter clowns Ricardo and Weale was going to be an improvement. Unless they stuck Logan in the team.
Chazwaz Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 I agree Kasper is utter class, well has been so far, touch wood.
