WHy are people so scared about Millwall winning tonight??

It'll still leave them 6 points behind us, virtually 7 given our goal difference. That's 2 wins away (forgetting GD). People just need to chill.

Millwall's next 2 games after tonight are against Walsall and Yeovil. Yeah they'll get 6 points. But then if we beat Carlisle and hereford, we'll still be 6 points clear!!!

Think positive and chill out people!

Take heed from this thread before you start making such bold predictions...

Thats it 9 points ahead plus goal difference so 10 points. With 6 games to go.

We are going up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 more wins and its over.

15 minutes until we are promoted.

If Millwall draw tonight its over.

They won't catch up 8 points on us, (plus 1 extra point due to goal difference), so basically 9 points.

7 points if they win tonight is possible, 9 points no no no.

Your confidence is worrying.

In order for them not to catch up 8 points on us, exactly how many points are you expecting us to get between now and Crewe away?

...Ok so Colchester just scored whilst writing this. Mmmm, it's looking better.

Our goal difference is currently 26 goals better. Thats basically another point.

Theres no fooking way they will catch up 10 points on us, they would have to win 5 draw 1 at least from their last 6 to stand any chance.

Just shut up with your predictions that could easily backfire.

Forget the premature celebrating.

Their American chairman was on SkySports news tonight expecting 7 wins from 7. lol

Millwall had a massive chance tonight to actually put some pressure on us with a win. Our loss at P'Boro meant nothing to them unless they won tonight.

Its over now in my view, i can't see us losing 4+, or Millwill winning all of their last 6 games.

So someone with good maths do me a favour please?!

IF we win, Millwall lose on Saturday how far are we looking off automatic promotion? Gotta be fairly close?

As I said I think getting Automatic Promotion and winning the league is down to the teams below us losing rather than us doing it ourselves tbh.

Millwall lose tonight and Saturday means the most they can get is 88.

So if we win, we'll need four points.

Millwall know this was a big night - just look at their two hurried substitutions as soon as they'd conceded. Come on you Us!

I do agree, but wouldn't be celebrating quite as much as you just yet.

I'm sure you were saying these kind of things about 4 or 5 weeks ago, and we have certainly been worried and had a few twists and turns since then yet you we're popping the champagne back then, games are running out and it can't be long till it's confirmed but please just put the celebrations on hold till it is confirmed?!

That would put us 12 points clear of Millwall, (but basically 13 on goal difference) with 15 points left up for grabs, leaving us needing 1 more win to guarantee finishing above Millwall.

Mk Dons may win their game in hand and their game too, which would put them 10 points behind us with 15 points left up for grabs.

Leaving us needing 2 more wins to guarantee finishing above Mk Dons.

So basically, IF Millwall lose Saturday, and we win our next 3 league games, we are guaranteed promotion.

So the Leeds game could be the one :D

And thats IF Mk Dons win their game in hand and the next 3 league games, and IF Millwall win their next 2 games after Saturday.

So if we are very lucky, we will be guaranteed promotion at Hereford, but chances are it will be the Leeds game, or Southend game.

Well having not noticed this thread. I decided to do a Clive Platt thread in gen sport - which I think is richly deserved cos this is a massive result :D
