Rugby markings...

Wow, what a day!!

I have never ever been a fan of the walkers stadium, for me a large part of Leicester City died when Filbo died, but seeing those rugby pitch markings really irritated me today. Don't they have some sort of way of removing any traces of them after the Tigers game?

It was only on Saturday, so no!

Who cares?

This

oh shut up, we have just practically sealed promotion yet you are moaning about something this pathetic

And this

It was SLIGHTLY annoying but it shan't be long until they'll never need our ground again, its a small sacrifice but at least we'll never have those ground share worries ever again!!

The markings were no less than sacrilege. Made the pitch look like a fecking lasagne. Couldn't anyone have taken the trouble to spray paint the lines out? I didn't know whether to appeal for a penalty or a five-yard scrum!

I really didn't think they were such a big deal, personally. :dunno:

You'd think they would at least use grass coloured green...

They probably did, but when it mixes with the white it goes lighter.

The game was so good, you shouldn't have noticed them.

I didn't.

I'd love someone to post an image or video of the moment Brown pushed Becchio's face to the floor.

That was pure brilliance.

Someone must have it somewhere?

Blended in nicely, and it is quite clear we do a much better job than other teams, who just fade the whiteness of the lines.

Fantastic state the pitch was in as well.

It didnt fuss me, but then again, I don't have a voodoo doll for the tigers like some people do.

If the first thing someone could think about after a win like that was how annoyed they were by the pitch, then bleh to them

Well look who it is. You don't really deserve to celebrate win like that today after all your negative stuff game after game. It's an ambition of mine to see you predict a good day for this club.

Sorry, Milky, this is wank. Firstly, every fan deserves to celebrate a win like that - especially someone who turns up week in and week out, win, lose or draw. But secondly, while Ian may be a pessimist and make negative predictions about forthcoming games, he's rarely negative about the club, the team or the players. Leave the pessimists alone, and if you must vent your spleen on someone, pick on some of the 'fans' at the Walkers who spend time in games booing their own players.

It does sound harsh reading it again. Sorry Ian.

What the fuck is wrong with you? We've nearly guarenteed ourselves promotion and you're moaning about this?

For a start, the Tigers only finished playing 8pm on Saturday night. The groundstaff were still at the ground gone 10pm Saturday night, all day yesterday, and in at 8am this morning turning the pitch round, and tbh you would never have guesssed that there had been a rugby game played there just a day and a half ago. If they'd not worked their socks off for th past day or so, we wouldn't have had game to watch today.

If you had any clue, you'd know what time and effort the groundstaff actually put into our pitches, not only at the walkers, but at the training ground too.

We've got one of the best pitches, if the the best pitch in the league.

Blimey, have we resorted to this? Moaning about rugby markings?

Just enjoy the result and the season and don't get worked up about something that does not matter at all.

It was a bit small time, but who give a fuck on a day like this? Honestly? :dunno:
