Just wanted to say..

this man is an absolute brick shithouse..

i had a good view of what he did to their strikers today..

he bullied becchio

he tortured dickinson..

in the air, i cant really think of a time when he lost out..

and his verbal contribution was non stop, brilliance....

to be honest a lot about his game reminded me of tunchev..

definately sign him in the summer...

Last 2 games hes been immense defensively.... ok I totally take on board peoples concerns on his distribution but I love him in the side now. Hes the old fashioned brick-shithouse defender and a leader on the pitch.. weve been lackin that for ages. Hes bound to have taken time to settle in and wasnt really playing regularly to start with.

His defendings cracking, but i'm still concerned about his passing tbh, hes got to improve that and if he does he'll be a quality player.

hopefully other people noticed the amount of times he violated their players.. with only 1 yellow card to show for it.. only conceeding a couple of free kicks..

it was brilliant..

Superb performance today, but his distribution is pretty poor and I wasn't too impressed with him earlier in the season when he joined. Would definitely prefer him to Kisnorbo though - and he'd be a good squad player next season if we signed him.

He wasn't fit to start with. It was painful to see against Hartlepool and to a greater extent against Milton Keynes. You are spot on about his leadership though - he'll snarl at and organise anyone and I saw him apparently having a right go at Hobbs on one occasion.

It's a vital ingredient that we've been lacking because Kisnorbo never fulfilled the role, nor others of our recent history. I'll still reserve judgement though. I wouldn't like to see him exposed to pace very often and his distribution choices and execution are inexplicable sometimes.

A couple of times today he was faced with two or three simple options and a hopeful one. He chose the hard one and the one he wasn't capable of delivering.

I even took a record for most of the first half to see how it worked out and his successful pass completion was just under 50% when, given the circumstances and his options it should have been 15-20% better.

Hobbs and Morrison, in contrast, seemed to try particularly hard to pass the ball simply which in part explained why King, Oakley and Gradel saw enough of the ball to have such good games.

When Brown joins the rest of our defenders in appreciating the value of retaining possession we'll have a formidable back line indeed. Cos there's no doubting that they compete and when even Leeds fans complain about the robustness of our approach it's no bad sign.

Even more genteel players like King and Gradel have shown greater strength as the season's progressed and were certainly no pushovers today when it came to their determination and willingness to fight for the ball.

Brown was brilliant today, Becchio has been a threat for Leeds ever since he has been playing for them but Wayne just bullied him all over the pitch, old school english defending shone through all game long!

He was great today and has been most of the time. His only poor game was MacDons, and I'm pretty sure he was carrying an injury that game.

His distribution today was middling at worst...

jeez imagine brown and tunchev at the back...

Ummmmm. Not sure about that. I think you need the height of someone like Hobbs. Just as Hobbs needs the organisational strength of Tunchev or Brown around him.

As I've mentioned before though. It might be a while yet before Tunchev's back.

I got punched today.

Bloody Raj - he's an animal too.

I saw Raj after the game. He was giddier than a really giddy schoolchild.

I love him.

He's built like a ****ing brick, heads everything that comes his way. He bullied Becchio like the shit little mouthy schoolboy that he is. He had Liam Dickinson in his back pocket.

Brown Sugar is an animal - You can see why he was Hull's best defender last season.

If we sign Hobbs he won't get a look in next season. Hobbs and Tunchev are the preferred pairing.

Tis a shame as he's a fooking animal and would be a good signing for next season, especially if we don't get Hobbs.

He's been immense in the last couple of games, dragging the team back from the negative spirit they showed at Peterborough, making us strong. Exactly the kind of 'old head' we needed when the going got tough. For the small number of games he's played in, his contribution to our promotion will have been massive.

We should definitely hang on to him if we can. He'll be cover for Hobbs and the Tunch, and if we get in a dogfight at either end of the table next year I think he'll show his qualities again.

At this stage in his career he might take that, if offered, together with some coaching role perhaps? Him and Chris Powell as City's defensive coaches anyone? Every young defender in the country would want to play for us.

Isn't it agreed he will be signing in the summer anyway?

Thought on the OS, it said "Brown has signed on loan and will make a permanent switch in the summer"? Something like that.
